Our flight out of Philidelpha, PA was cancelled 4/10/13 and booked 3 rooms to spend the night at the Econo lodgev600 S. Governor Printz Blvd Lester, PA. The desk clerk was very nice, but the rooms were unacceptable at best. One room 126, had a terrible smoke smell and the door could hardly close and the corner of the room had plaster falling down. Room 125 one bed had a torn bedspread and what looked like bird seed (or I am going with bird seed, not rat food) on the bed (I took photos), also had no lock on the door. the third was also very bad with a blend of must and ink covered bedding. We went to the restaurant which and after squeezing past some 3 “shady” fellows smoking outside the door, and walked into the musty smelling “dining room” and sat at a table that appeared to be ready for guests only to find one of the spoons and napkin had been used. Ordered soda's (which thankfully came in cans) and food. the food was not bad, but probably only because we didn't know for sure how it was made. After gagging down dinner, we decided that none of us could feel comfortable staying at the hotel and asked the desk clerk if we could cancel our stay. She said we would have to ask customer service about a refund. I am pretty sure that unless we dispute the charges on our card, that isn’t going to happen. « less

For the money, the experience I got at this hotel was more or less what I expected.

For the money, the experience I got at this hotel was more or less what I expected.
The room was nicer than the room I stayed at a few weeks earlier next door at the Quality Inn (which seems to be run by the same company as this Econo Lodge). The bed was surprisingly comfortable. Unfortunately, there were several long, black hairs in the sheets (couldn't have been from me or my travel partner!). The shower was good.
The free shuttle was helpful, though left later than scheduled going to the airport the next morning. The shuttle itself also had "check tire pressure" and "change oil" indicator lights on...
The person at the front desk didn't seem to know about daylight savings time when I called to request a wake-up call; no problems stemmed from this, however. « less

I had to spent one night between my flights, so I got EconoLodge for modest $ USD 77. It took more than hour to get Shuttle Bus, after my call finally Bus came to pick me up.
Cold and sketchy, waiting whole night for the bed bugs bites, but suprisingly they didn't show up.
Internet is very slow and one yellow bar.
Local Chinese restaurant in walking distance offers chinese food, OK, at least I wasn't poisoned.
