Green Sustainability
Bay Gardens Resorts has been Green Globe recertified. The resort chain has implemented environmental best practices in accordance with the Green Globe Certification standard which includes but not limited to the installation of gem link occupancy sensors which are currently in most of the rooms. There are two (2) airports on the island of St. Lucia; George F. L. Charles Airport (SLU) which is in Castries, approximately 25 minutes driving distance from the Bay Gardens Marina Haven Hotel; and Hewanorra International Airport (UVF) located in the south of the island, in Vieux Fort, is 1 hour and 30 minutes away from the hotel.
Local Shuttle Info: The Bay Gardens Resorts complimentary shuttle services runs among our 3 properties daily and takes our guests to the beach. This free service is available every hour on the half hour beginning at 9:30am to 10:30 pm. In addition, there is a local bus service which goes to Castries at a cost of $2.25 EC (Eastern Caribbean dollars). It runs from 5:30 am - 11:30 pm and takes about half an hour to get to Castries depending on the number of stops made on the way and the level of traffic.
