Was there with family Extra bed was not made up, so we had to find bedlinen in the warederobe and do the job ourselves. Parking at 145 sek per night is not expesive, it's more like a rip-off. Hotel i s sharing the site with an office complex, a gym and otehr activites, which makes it a bit high traffic inside the building. Reasonably well located, with good connections to central parts of Gothenburg via tram. Breakfast with good variety, but scrambled eggs made from powder, american style, and supposedly hot dishes were cold. Otherwise clean and well kept. friendly staff, but far too expensive for the experience. Very long wait for check-in, but it seemed to be just bad luck on our side. « less

This Best Western is located about a mile out of Gothenburg Central on one of the main carriageways out of the city and above Liseberg area. Getting to and from Central Gothenburg can be achieved on Tram 2 or 4 and its situated in a commercial area\business area away from the tourist sites. To this end i would say its suits the businessman rather than tourists and the hotel itself is located within offices, supermarket complex that at first i could not find my room. Reception is great, quick, easy attentive staff and the reception area is large adjacent to lounges and bar area. The breakfast area (breakfast included which is good) is buffet style, was average and a normal continental style breakfast but i have had better. I suppose because its in the price they don't pull out all the stops. The rooms are large with full kitchens and with the supermarket also on the complex you could cook your own meals. The rooms are clean, flat screen television, dining table, comfortable beds and desk, nice bathroom.
Wi-Fi is included but i could not get it to work with the security key. That was disappointing. But at least it was free.
For me there are better hotels in Gothenburg and I have to say better Best Westerns in there portfolio. This one is characterless in an area of business and just average all-round. « less

indeed, very large room, but without character, quite far from anything (but the highway) definitely not walking distance from goteborg center. rooms are large, probably nice for long stay but not for a week breakfast is really disappointing, hotel restaurant is empty (after 8pm, don't know earlier) but at reasonable prices for sweden (eventhough, wine is awful!) hotel should lend bicycles, these are "under reparation till friday", that does not help! if I have to go back , I'll change hotel (eventhough, nothing very bad to report, everything is just ok) « less

Very spacious, clean and comfortable studio. Great for a longer business stay or family travel. The location isn't great, but if you need a bit more space, this place is well worth a look. While there isn't much around the hotel, the transport links are really good. Trams run to city centre and Moelndal from directly outside the hotel every few minutes. Breakfast is very good too. « less

I stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks during the summer and it was fantastic! The room was HUGE with a modern look and amenities (wood floors, flat screen TV, internet) and a Kitchenette, Sauna and Balcony to boot. The bed was very comfortable and the curtains did a good job of blocking out the sun which is a huge bonus if you’re not used to the long summer days.
One of my favorite part of this hotel was the breakfast. Everything you could want and more (try the Waffles with Jam and Whipped Cream). Luckily the TRAM is located right across the street as that's as far as i could walk with such a full stomach.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Gothenburg! « less
