My girlfriend and I decided on this travelodge due to our budget and was not expecting much but we actually really enjoyed our stay. The room was comfortable and clean, the hotel has 3 pool and the landscaping was very pretty. It was actually convient with the shuttle that drops you off at the ferry which takes you right to canal st, only thing was that they stopped the shuttle at 9. So if your out past 9pm you will need to take a cab back. But overall good place to place to stay, and would definitely return. « less

My family and I had a wonderful time here. This property is way more than I expected, it felt like I was at a resort in florida. The room was clean and fresh, the staff was super helpful and extremely friendly. The courtyard is beutifully landscaped with 3 pools.
We checked in late and was greeted by the smiling clerk and then the security which is sherrif officer deputy Green, helped us with our bags to the room which was real nice. The staff made my family and I feel like we were right at home. We took the shuttle to the ferry which drops you off in the french quarters and called the hotel when we were done and there was Mr JOe waiting us. He even took us to wal mart to get some items for the kids.
This is my new go to hotel whenever in New Orleans. Thanks Tess for the hospitality! « less

I have stayed in many wonderful places, 4* and 5 * hotels, resorts, and this one rates right up there with the rest of them. Only difference was this one was a lot more affordable. They are in process of fixing the onsite restaurant. There is a free breakfast. Staff was wonderful. The grounds were beautifully landscaped. Two adult pools and one baby pool. My room was clean and very comfortable. There is a hotel van that staff will take you most anywhere in and was free of charge. They allowed me and my sister to leave our vehicle on the property while we went on a 6 day cruise for only $10 total. They took us to the port and was waiting on us when we got off the boat.While we were in town they took us to the free ferry to go into New Orleans. I will be returning to this travel lodge for years to come. « less
