Hotel is a few years old but still very fresh and clean. Staff are excellent. Everett gets a special mention for his customer service. He arranged to get us into a room early after returning from a cruise and helped store our luggage until the room became available.
Cost us only $6 taxi plus tip to get from the cruise port to the hotel! Hotel provides free shuttle to the airport only.
$2 day pass for the Fort Lauderdale "trolley" makes it easy to get to the beach and boardwalk.

We were very happy with our choice of stay between our flight and our cruise. The hotel was clean and airy. The pool was very well looked after and had plants and interesting decorative touches. The breakfast was average in quality. The location of the hotel was good - across the street from a plaza type mall and a 15 minute walk (we did not have a car) from a really great dining experience at Anthony's Runway 84. We were in our room by 1 pm so thank you for the early check in. The shuttle from the airport to hotel was convenient. All in all, a pleasant stay. « less

Great location in Fort Lauderdale if you want to go to the beach or be close to the cruiseport. A little on the pricey side for what you get but comfy stay. « less
