We don't have a lot of experience traveling in China but the Holiday Inns seem have been the best hotels we have stayed in. This hotel does have the disadvantage of being remote from the scenic areas. As with most of the hotels in China the staff are very helpful and the breakfast buffet provides more than enough choice. « less

Only downside was that there was not a designated bar area for non smokers which I think all international brands should provide. « less

I have stayed at this hotel several times and I have no complaints. The staff speaks english, there is a nice pool, the rooms are clean and the food is very good. There are mostly western food on the menu, but if you want some real Chinese food it's plenty of restaurants not too far away. The price is also very affordable. If you have the opportunity upgrade your room to a junior suite and you will have a room in one of the top floors of this tall building. Very nice view! « less

If you are a foreigner visiting the area I highly recommend this hotel! The staff are very friendly and give great service above and beyond. Close to all amenities the hotel serves both western and Chinese cuisine. You will find this hotel a meeting place of many of the local expats and they feature one of the best bands I have seen in all of China. I look forward to returning on my next business trip! « less
