If I had it to do over, I would have paid the extra money for Holiday Inn Express. I made three room reservations one month in advance and requested all three King Sized rooms on the first floor backside. I received instead one King room on the backside on the first floor and 2 on the second. That was ok but then the first floor King room's air conditioning was broken. Therefore, we had to move rooms. We did not want double beds so we were put in a front side room. The traffic was horrible. After over an hour and some tissue poked in my ear, I got to sleep. Then about 2 hours into sleep, there was a power surge of some sort the clock light to start flashing and the TV to turn on. We thought someone had broken into the room...I was scared out of my mind !! It took me until 2:30 am to go back to sleep and I had to be up by 6am. Never Again! « less

I was very upset at Super 8. I ALWAYS stay there when I am in NC and I was planning on staying there again next month but I have made my reservation elsewhere. I can’t understand if Super 8 knows that there is a problem with outsider calling into a room at 1:00am waking me out of my sleep just to scam people why isn’t the phones directed to the front desk? I was very disturbed for not having an answer when it would make sense to direct all calls to the front desk. After I mention it the next night all the calls was directed to the front desk. On my second night I was at the front desk when a young lady was running down the hall to say that a man was beating his girlfriend in the room next to her and the attendance didn’t seem to be interested in it. All I can say is WOW. « less
