After visiting two near by hotels, one wouldn't let us see the room, the other had beds so low and soft that I could never get out once I got in, so after seeing our room at Fairfield the desk personnel were super nice, even calling our room to see if we were happy. The beds and pillows were very comfortable with 4 pillows on each bed. The room was clean and quite. Definetly would stay here again. « less

To think that this is a chain of Marriott I would think twice before staying at this hotel again. When I asked to have my room clean the staff was not nice to me at all. « less

Our visit to KC was for a family visit, so we didn't spend much time in the hotel, but when we were there, we were pleased. I found the hotel on the Marriott website "Fairfield Inn and Suites Kansas City Liberty", but I couldn't find it on Tripadvisor under another name. Finally by searching and luck, I came upon it under the name above. Go figure!? Anyway, the bed was very comfortable! Bedding is all-white so you know it is all freshly laundered. Quiet. Complimentary breakfast offered many choices, hot and cold. Fresh and well stocked. Dining area was cozy and clean. Staff were friendly. Business center was handy. Fitness room is clean and machines up-to-date. We also enjoyed the indoor concrete pool and hot tub.The bottom of the pool could use a paint job to freshen it up (it looks rust-stained in spots). Everything is mostly well maintained. Our standard king room was adequate but odd, as there was no vanity in the bathroom. We think ours must have been a handicapped room? The only place to put our toiletries, comb, etc was on two tiny little glass wall shelves hung over the toilet stool and we had to be careful to close the lid, as makeup, comb, etc kept falling off the shelves. The small sink was wall-hung. We may stay here again when we visit family, if the price is right. It is easy to get on the highways and there are many, many stores and restaurants within walking distance. « less
