My first time to Mexico and I want to go back! What a wonderful crew of people working at the Beach Palace. Everyone is so quick to assist you with a smile that is sincere. All of the people working are professional and friendly. I found the service to be quick and if something needed to be corrected for whatever the reason may be, it was done in a timely manner without any fuss.
Lots of food to select from in the Beach Palace. Everything was fresh and tasty. All dining rooms were exceptionally clean and the service was sincere, frindly and professional once again.
On the Beach and patio, you must ask for either Daniel, Eduardo and or Alfonso! My drinks and or food orders were always served right, they always made us smile, great to speak with with and they went over and above at times to help us. « less

Restaurants were excellent, service staff exceptional, and accommodations exceeded our expectations. The Reservation agents in the hotel to book trips to Tulum, Xcaret, Chichen Itza, and reserve hotel services were very knowledgeable and helpful. The next time we visit Cancun this will the place for us to stay again. « less

We stayed at Beach Palace April 29-May 6. I had my two children with me who are 14 and 11 , both girls, and we were married at the resort. Our trip was amazing!
Beach palace is gorgeous. It is by far the most beautiful beach I have ever seen. The resort is spotless at all times. One of the main reasons we chose the resort were 1) for the reviews of the staff and 2) for the location. And we were not disappointed in either.
The staff is amazing. They are so helpful and go out of their way to make you happy. I cannot say enough about the staff. There were certain staff members who would remember myself and my family and the drinks we ordered the day before or things like that. I am terrible with names so cannot remember specific names but I always remembered the faces of the friendly staff. They would bring my kids virgin drinks all day also which they loved.
The food was really good. I have been to a few all inclusive resorts and this was by far the best. I waited too long into the trip to get to the Japanese and Italian restaurants and I was so upset because when I finally went they were SO good!! The bummer is they don't open until the evening. I wish they were open at lunchtime or even later afternoon. The steakhouse is not that good. The buffet is good. It is not as good as the others but they have a good variety. The breakfast buffet is really good! We ordered room service daily. It was ok. Some things better than others. I really wished I did not order so much room service and would get myself down to the restaurants instead but it was so convenient especially when the kids were not quite ready for the day or I wanted to lounge around the room or take a bath in my fabulous jetted tub!
Alcohol is all premium stuff that we would get here in the U.S. which was really nice. You can actually get Grey Goose for no extra charge!! Love that.
One thing for sure, get an ocean view room. The view is so gorgeous!!! We started out in a lagoon view because we wanted a family room so that the kids had their own area. I was told by my travel agent there were no ocean view family rooms, which is wrong. We ended up getting a suite the night of the wedding and it was absolutely amazing. I was so bummed it took 4 nights into our trip to get it. But I enjoyed it the rest of the time.
The wedding was great! We were married on the beach. Everything went smoothly and the staff that served us at the wedding were great, as they always were.
The location in town is perfect. I have stayed on the Mayan Riviera and it is a different feel but it is very far away from the airport and with no easy access to anything. Beach Palace is a very short trip from the airport and there are many things within walking distance if you desire to leave the resort. I took my kids to town to shop for souvenirs one day. There are lots of restaurants also. Clubs are close if you want to do that. We did not go to any since we had the kids but heard they were a good time.
Since my kids were a little older they were not involved in any kids activities. There is not much geared towards their age group. But they had a blast anyways. We met a couple who were staying at Moon Palace and they said there was a lot for kids there but they beach is bad and they wanted to come to our resort for the beach! We went to Moon Palace for one day so the kids could swim with dolphins and thought we would want to hang out there for the day since we can eat and drink there also. But as soon as we were done with dolphins we wanted to get back to our own gorgeous resort!!
Resort credits. Basically did not use any except for the spa which was quick to go. We got a couples massage the day before the wedding and my girls and I got pedicures the day of the wedding. My pedicure was just ok. It was not any better than one I would get here at home. Our massage was good. I also got a few bottles of upgraded wine with my resort credits but that was all. We had planned to do dolphin excursion with them but you have to do basically an all day event to use the credits. I did not want to spend a whole day traveling and at a water park (which is part of the excursion). Even if you get your own transportation to Moon Palace for the dolphins you cannot use the credits because you did not do the whole tour. Which is really annoying. So we ended up paying $400 in the end.
My only other complaint is the pool bar, beach service and pool basically close up shop really early. I think about 5. Every day our group (which was 34 total) was having a really good time and everything would start closing which puts a damper on it. Our last day there we just ordered an entire bottle of alcohol and mixers and kept our own party going until sunset. I also hate the whole chair saving BS. I really think it should not be allowed at resorts. By the time we would get down to the pool the chairs were all taken. The sports bar was surprisingly slow during our stay. We thought since it was the only place open late at the resort it would be busy but it really wasn't.
It was a really amazing and fabulous trip. Beach Palace is so wonderful and I already want to go back!! « less

The staff at the Beach Place Resort are the most friendly and accommodating people that I've ever meet.Our stay from April 15 to 20 was so much more enjoyable because of them. From the front desk staff Carlos, Francisco, and Jessica to Ricardo the bell boy ,Segunty- Olgver to Isaias Canche taking great care in making sure our room was well supplied with all necessities and very clean. At the sky bar we meet the most amazing staff,Yadira Celene,Yanet Domingo, Miguel Angel, Eduardo and chef Hermelinda. .All smiles and so friendly making sure we were taken care of. I sure hope I have all your names spelled right. The restaurants were all so good with great food but the staff make it so much more enjoyable. They make sure our every need was taking care off. I like to thank Victor, Yuipt,Carlos Mod,at the Tequila Restaurant and Reyes at our dinner party, My most favorite person was Jose Antonio at the Terraza Restaurant. Twice this wonderful man went well beyond his duty of making sure that we had a table to eat our meals at. He even went to the back and brought out a table for us.Thank you Jose.
