We checked into this hotel thinking it would be restfull and relaxing. "I mean it's Days Inn" and they usually have a lot to offer. If only I would have read the reviews before checking in, but I didn't and we paid for it.
Our room was dirty and smelled of foul odors. I dropped my cell phone behind the bed and was horrified when we found cigarette butts, used contraceptives and a sock. There was cobwebs in the corner and I don't think they've ever washed the doors or windows here.
The following morning wasn't any better when we got to the lobby for breakfast and got a piece of bread and had to put the already bitten apple back. So we asked the clerk at the front desk if they could refill it and he said "our policy is once a day" It was 8:45 am!
Our family's new policy is "Only once too" We stayed there once and will never do it again!

Just like many travelers, we were tired and just wanted to relax at the end of our vacation. I'm sorry to say that there wasn't much anyone could do to turn this experience around for us. It was just too dirty and there were no ammenities - not even ice! « less
