We travelled down to South Carolina to play a few teams down south before we open up with our regular schedule this season. The hotel was within just a few miles of the schools we played which helped a lot with location. It was clean, had a great breakfast, wonderful and helpful staff, and great accommodations. We were minutes from downtown Columbia and a few attractions that made our stay that much better. The staff was knowledgeable about the area and helped us find good dining areas. It as a great trip and I hope we get to do it again next year and stay in the same place.

The Hyatt Place accommodated my group; they were very easy to work with in doing so. The hotel was very nice. The only complaint might be that the Queen sleepers were a little thinner than advertised. It wasn't very comfortable. And the automated phone system was a bit flawed; I had a little trouble making the reservation. Otherwise, a superb stay.

Our Gallery is a warm and open area that features a self-registration kiosk, an intimate coffee and wine cafe, a TV den and an e-room with free access to public computer and printer. Guests at Hyatt Place may purchase signature hotel breakfast entrees along with Starbucks specialty coffees or enjoy a free continental breakfast.
