The manager is friendly, even knows my voice because I have stayed here many times when I visit the Kutztown antique market. The rooms are clean and he does try to ensure that the guests are not disturbing anyone. Twice when I had minor problems - smoke alarm beeping, small sink leak, he came up within 15 minutes and fixed the problem. « less

We stopped here on our way down south to dog shows, making our reservations online from the road. They only had 2 doggy rooms, both of which they advised were "smoky". The room we had was spacious and well appointed. The hotel is clean and well maintained and, despite being just outside the lobby, was very peaceful. The beds were comfortable and the staff helpful. It was a nice, safe place to stop for the night. « less

The hotel was very dark and dreary and not welcoming at all. The room was the same and the bathroom was very old and not very clean the sink was all cracked and the toilet didn't work right . We only stayed one night and that was more than enough we got out of their first thing in the morning and would never go back. « less
