I came across Lexington Hilton Suites at Lexington Green as we were hastily trying to get to Lexington due to my Great Uncle, a very close member of our family, being at Central Baptist Hospital and not doing well. The location was excellent so we could get to the hospital with ease.
Unfortunately early during our trip, my Great Uncle passed away.
This changed the dynamics of our trip dramatically! Instead of being in Lexington for 2 nights, it turned into 5 nights. Everyone at the hotel was very empathetic to our situation and they extended our stay without hesitation. This helped immensely in that we did not have to stress about accommodations and could take care of assisting on planning my Great Uncle's Funeral.
The rooms are excellent. Two room suites with a great living room and wet bar area with refrigerator! And a sofa bed that is actually comfortable. The hotel was very clean and the staff is excellent. I will definitely come back to this hotel when I come back to visit family and cheer on the Kentucky Wildcats! Thank you for a great stay considering the reason we were there.

Stayed four nites during a college reunion. The hotel was clean, and very standard. Nothing spectacular. We had a suite, but it was very tight. You can only get out of bed via one side, and the sitting area was packed tightly. The first night the TV needed service call. Suite did not come with microwave, so we asked for one. Charge for mini microwave in room - $10.00. When we went to use it, the inside was dirty and the glass turntable was missing. The next day we noticed that no matter what temp you set the AC on, it did not work well. Needed service call. Wanted to connect computer to get directions. Charge for each individual electronic device - $10 per day....so two guests each using a cell ph and laptop add $40.00 a day to the bill??? Yes, there is free wifi in the lobby. Next time I'll go down in pajamas to charge my phone and check my messages. In the hotel's defense, they removed one day's charge and offered us a dinner coupon (difficult to use when you live 600 miles away). We did not have the lovely pond view that many travelers enjoyed, but still consider it a safe, clean, and satisfactory hotel, tho not really Hilton quality. In most of the Hiltons I have stayed at, the linens were ironed and the pillows have a crisp, starched look, not all wrinkled and rumpled. Would I stay there again? Yes, but I have stayed at La Quinta Inns with more room, mini microwaves & refrigerators, free room internet, etc. for 1/2 the price and twice the space. « less

Stayed at the Lexington Suites for Kentucky Derby weekend. The place was jammed full but you never would have known it. We had a corner room with a huge curved glass window that overlooked the pond.
The room was quite comfortable and it was nice to be able to close the door in the second room to block off any noise form outside the room.
Easy to get to and I would definitely recommend to anyone coming this way. « less

This hotel has incredibly spacious and tastefully decorated rooms-- very comfortable! The public areas again are elegantly decorated, and the hotel is situated by a picturesque little pond. I arrived, the pool was not yet open for the season, but there was a little area adjacent to the pond that had some high-top tables so at least I could sit outside and enjoy the weather and some reading. Each room has a living area that can be closed off from the bedroom, it was wonderful to have the extra space. Front desk staff was very courteous and professional and helpful.
The restaurant in the hotel was closed, no signage or no reason, but at least the bar was offering a limited menu. I had a New York Strip, service was prompt and friendly, however, the meal was not exceptional. You received a plate with a steak, fries and a vegetable-- nothing else. No bread, no salad-- just the entree. There is a restaurant located on the pond that perhaps I will try next time i'm at this hotel which will be at least once every week this month.
Overall, I was extremely impressed with this hotel, and will most certainly look forward to my other stays this month. And once the pool area is open for the season, it will make it even more relaxing. « less
