I am typing this review from my room here at the hotel and I am extremely pleased.
First off I should say I booked this hotel blindly thru priceline and ended up paying 30$/night. I didn't know a thing about the hotel other than it was in the universal area.
Pros: front desk help Jeanette is awesome! She's so friendly and helpful I really liked her. Hotel is well located and you can take the I-ride trolley from about three minutes down the road. This lets you take a 1.50$ trolley instead of paying a 10$ taxi to seaworld /universal. Also, there is free good breakfast and a cute pool. 24/7 GOOD coffee / tea.
Cons: no restaurant in the hotel and the carpets could be cleaner. The no restaurant is no biggie my room carpet hasn't been cleaned in a bit.
Overall if you can score a sweet priceline or Expedia deal here do it. I have no idea why it's only rated two stars because it's a great place « less

We last stayed at this hotel in October 2010 and liked it so much we decided to stay here again for our 17 night holiday and weren't disappointed. The room was very clean and had a new flatscreen TV and new beds and bedding.
We were there during Spring Break and even though the hotel was full we never heard any noise from adjoining rooms or the corridor. The pool was never very busy and there were always plenty of sun loungers. There are two BBQ for guest use and these appeared to new.
The one small complaint I have is the carpets in the corridors and on the stairs are stained and dirty. However as the property is due to be renovated later this year this shouldn't be a problem for much longer. Once the renovation is completed the hotel will be outstanding value for money (we only paid $69.99 plus tax per night) and I would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting more than just your average hotel room. « less

Having not stayed in ALL Extended Stay Deluxe Hotels yet, but I guess they have the same style & standard. This is the 3rd time I stay in one of the Extended Stay Deluxe Hotels. As a light exercise, I and my wife, we just walk to the Orange County Convention Center instead of having to take the shuttle bus of the TradeShow. Above such ideal distance, the E.S.D.Hotels still give me the same feeling of an alter warm home. We really enjoy our business trip & sojourn there. « less
