Specific floors are "non smoking", smoking rooms are available, Additional smoking areas are provided in public areas. Latest technology ensures quiet, individually controlled, rapid response air conditioning winter and summer. The color television incorporates radio, movie channels and guest directory, the phone features include voicemail, and the table doubles as a work desk with the PC data access and power points are table high and easily accessible.
Lighting has been well studied for mood and function for rest, for work, for reading in bed. Every room has a self contained, well equipped kitchenette area with sink, microwave, for convenience and meal preparation at any hour, and refrigerator far beyond the simple tea and coffee facilities of before. Electronic security locks, safety latch and peephole are standard. The bathroom with shower (not bathtub) is sparkling clean, well lit and functional. Reception is manned 24 hours. Guest laundry and dry cleaning services are offered plus a do it yourself guest laundry. The locations have been carefully chosen to give guests a close by choice of dining, supplemented by delivery services and in hotel vended snack and microwave able products. Breakfast, is normally served in the attractive Guest Lounge off the lobby, offering a great value range of hot and cold items. Sleek machines provide on demand quality espresso and cappuccino, as well as hot chocolate and teas. Renovation Notice: The hotel is currently undergoing refurbishment of guestrooms. Guestrooms will be upgraded with new carpeting, sheer curtains, artwork, bedspreads, and fabric on sofas. Work will be done Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on rare occasions, on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. There is no disruption to hotel services but there may be some noise disturbance.
