We flew Alaska Airlines and stayed at the Monte Carlo. Check in was fast and the staff was all really friendly. We liked this resort as it seemed to be very well layed out compared to others we have been in. It is easy to get around, we loved the tram from Aria to Bellagio. Seem to avoid the young 21 year olds, seems to be more 30 + at this resort or at least it was when we went. All in all it was a good classy place to stay and the lazy river pool is amazing :) « less

Stayed at the Monte Carlo May 11-14, check-in was a breeze, the line was long but got a room right away..The room was pretty nice, remodeled and updated except the carpet was really ugly..Was on the 6th floor facing the pools.Its was like 102 degrees out so spent our days at the pools..on Saturday the pools were really crowded and loud and sun and Mon they were more to my liking..not as busy and quiet..the drink and food prices at the pools are outrageously pricey..we would leave for lunch and come back. The energy at the Casino was boring so we gambled at a few other casinos (planet hollywood and Casino Royale) and did extremely well. Went downtowm (Fremont St) to Golden Nugget and Golden Gate and those 2 casinos are super fun and energetic.. Also did a nightclub tour that was well worth it first we went to The Bank at Bellagio then Hakkeson at MGM then Pure at Caesars Palace, it was $50 and included liquor on the shuttle. Turned out to be a fun quick getaway, id stay at Monte Carlo again if the price is right « less

Stay at the Monte Carlo a few times a year. BUT NO MORE. They roust me out of bed at 11.30pm at night to pay $200 on my bill.
They claim they had called and left messages but no message light on an NO messages when checked.
They tried to enter my room while I was sleeping and when I finally got to the door there was a tiny front desk girl with a security guard demanding payment.
I simply walked to my computer. Made a credit card payment and that was it. Now that I was awake I went to see front desk manager...Useless..Oh its our policy to roust people out of bed at 11.30pm at night. Its our policy to try and enter your hotel room without you letting them in.
I have to tell you I come to Vegas a lot. This is the first time that I have ever encountered such brutal customer service. I will make it my mission to let people know about this kind of customer NON service. I get they want their money but to lie about leaving messages and trying to enter my room while I was sleeping is a non starter with me...Too bad I really like this hotel but no more. I will stick with Harrah's from now on. « less
