We have just returned from a weeks stay at this hotel. It's in a fantastic location; Magic Kingdom, Discovery Cove, Sea World & Blizzard Beach are all within an easy 10 minute drive. Rooms are standard rooms, with a large fridge which we used to store water that we stocked up on from Walmart (4 miles from the hotel). The rooms were clean (although not vacuumed each day). We requested a quiet room and were located at the end of the corridor on the 5th floor and had total peace and quiet the whole time we were there. Breakfast was ok; a couple of mornings we chose to eat out at Dennys (5 mins away) where we could get something more substantial, but for bagels etc... the hotel breakfast is fine. We ate at the hotel before 8am most mornings and it wasn't too busy. The breakfast room itself doesn't feel air conditioned, so make sure you grab a seat out of the restaurant itself, in the lobby area. The staff we found indifferent- helpful if you asked, but they didn't go out of their way to be friendly; for example, they didn't greet you when you arrived back into the hotel each day, which we found to be unusual for an American hotel.Two exceptions to this were Rob, who organised a slightly later check out for us, and the Sales Manager Elizabeth, who was very friendly and helpful on our last day with storing our luggage etc... The only reason we didn't give this hotel 5 out of 5 is the pool area- it is small and also they have a shortage of sun beds. When we return to Orlando, we would definitely choose to stay here again, although we might go back to the Raddisson Hotel in Celebration where we stayed in 2012, which has a much better pool area (although recent reviews have not been so great at this hotel). If you want a hotel that is convenient for Disney and the shopping areas, the Hampton Inn is a great choice. « less

The Hampton Inn Lake Buena Vista is one of the better Hampton Inns I have stayed at. Not only is it extremely clean, but the location and premises are fantastic. The hotel is located just minutes from Downtown Disney and Disneyworld parks. It is also within walking distance of a large variety of gift shops and restaurants (lots of options, including both fast and sit in restaurants). Examples include Olive Garden, McDonalds, IHOP, Pizza Hut, TGIF etc ....
What really impressed me was how clean the hotel was, at all times of the day. I would often see cleaning staff at multiple times throughout the day. The room was a decent size and also, very clean. The bedding and pillows were very comfortable as well, and the water pressure in the shower was strong. The hotel's continental breakfasts were better than most hotels, they always included fresh fruit, yoghurts, eggs etc and the Mickey waffle maker was a nice touch. The hotel does have a shuttle service to and from Disney parks daily, and the shuttle service was very efficient and the drivers were always outgoing, funny and very helpful! The hotel's pool was large, very clean and very fun for anyone of any age!
Overall, the staff were friendly and the location of the hotel couldn't have been better in terms of Disney and restaurants. Definitely a must-stay for anyone wanting to visit Disneyworld! « less

We are Florida residents and travel to Orlando (Disney) often. This particular trip was planned for our daughters birthday. We contacted the hotel prior to our stay to inquire about room decorating. They were more than willing to help. I purchased items prior to travel and delivered them to the hotel. While enjoying the parks the hotel staff did an AMAZING decorating job including making a personalized birthday card. Elizabeth Pusateri, Alix, Rob, Alex at the front desk and all of the wonderful staff (I am sorry I don’t’ know all of their names) went out of their way to make us feel like we were “special”. We traveled with friends and they made sure to put us all together even though we were arriving on different days. The rooms are a nice size, clean and comfy! The hot breakfast was great! Quick drive to the parks.Talk about staff going above and beyond! Will definitely stay at this Hampton again. « less

Hampton Inn Orlando/Lake Buena Vista offers great value compared to the traditional Disney resorts.The hotel offers a complimentary shuttle service (which could run a bit more often), that takes you to the four main Disney parks. Breakfast was good (be sure to try the Mickey-shaped waffles), the room was clean and spacious and parking was abundant. Service was nice, fast and friendly. We payed around $150 for two nights bought well in advance - far less expensive than the surrounding hotels.
