Besides the toilet not working, the room having furniture from 1970s, I could hear every noise in the hotel, and felt every spring in the mattress, the place smelled and it was totally disgusting. To top it off the Tavern, produces unsavory characters which wander the property at 1:30 AM. Last night, should I say this morning at 2 AM, a fight broke out outside of my room which turned into a police visit. Once the drunks passed out at 4 AM, I was able to curl up with my pillow and bed bug friends to get sleep. I do recommend this hotel if your looking for an adventure or eventual jail cell mate. « less

I've read through the past reviews and I thought I would finally put my thoughts on this place down. It is an economy hotel. So if you're looking for luxury, then this is not your place. The rooms are clean. I've always had a room upstairs and inside. Ask for a room away from the bar and you'll find it much quieter.
You do get a voucher for a couple items for breakfast at the Waffle House next door. You can also get a voucher for drink at the bar next door. I never went over to the bar so I can't comment on it.
Parking can be a bit interesting at times when the bar is hopping, but other than that I've never had an issue finding a place to park and my vehicle had always been safe.
They do have wifi which can be a bit spotty at times. Usually the only thing you have to do is release and renew your IP and then you're back in business.
Seriously, if you're looking for luxury then you would be better off to go some place else. The staff and employees have always been courteous to me. The few problems I've had, they've taken care of them immediately.
There is a microwave and fridge.
I've stayed here off and on since July 2012. I would stay here again next time I'm in town. « less

Not a place to bring a family, but if you are in town on business and on a budget this is a good place. You get what you pay for. I mainly stay here because the give you a free breakfast at the Waffle House Next door. There is a bar next door that does not serve food. I does look like you could get a hooker there though. DID NOT TRY! The rooms did stink like smoke even though you had a non-smoking room. I had a room upstairs from the main lobby, Room 139 or 141 not sure, but it was quiet. Like I said, you get what you pay for. I do recommend bringing a pistol.
After talking to some of the employees I learned that this property is owned by Indians. They treat their employees bad and are looking out for their bottom dollar.
Again, The only reason I stay here is for the Waffle House breakfast and very low $ Room. « less

I have never written a review bur I couldn't resist attempting to save others from making the mistake I am right now. We stopped here on our way down to Florida. I told the clerk we had three sleepy boys (ages 11,6 & 1) and needed a place just to sleep. Though she was very curteous, she failed to inform me that there is a tavern right on the premises that plays LOUD music until 2 am (its a friday). It soundsto like itsa outside myworking window! Knowing I wasn't familiar with the area to know this and knowing I had a BABY and two other children, she still never told me. As I write this, it is midnight and I just got back from speaking with the manager. She wasn't apologetic and, in fact, she had the nerve to lie and say she DID tell me! No way! She told me i should read the sign outside that says there is a tavern here. I never saw it but even if I had, I wouldn't expect it to be THIS LOUD. I've got 3 kids. Im used to noise. THIS is ridiculous. To top it off, there are bar patrons outside yelling and honking off and on. If you value sleep or courteous staff DON'T STAY HERE! If you want to hit up the bar, jump to it. From all the noise I'm hearing it must be one hell of a time. Other than the odd smell, its pretty clean. No pubes on the toilet or bedbugs in this room anyway. The smell is a cross between an old woman and something else I can't quite put my finger on. If two of the three kids weren't finally asleep I would leave. Midnight or not. I'm happy to say I did at least warn two other couples to go elsewhere as I was at the front desk. I've worked in customer service before and we all hate the person who comes in raising stink. I've very rarely had to be that person but tonight I was because instead of a genuine apology, I got attitude and eye rolls. Please don't waste your money. You will regret it. Spend a lil bit more and get a room up the road! « less
