This was the most recent of four stays. Not much to say about the place itself because it's a standard Novotel: good quality in all respects, good sized rooms, bed/s, shower, etc. I choose this one because I really like the Ste Catherine area for eateries and easy access to so many central attractions. I sympathise a bit with another comment about the local vibes tho; there are quite a few drinkers & rough sleepers but I've never had any actual problems. And as with most cities these days the number of destitute folk is, sadly, increasing. Hotel rates here, as elsewhere in Brussels can be tricky because the city has so many huge exhibitions and conventions. Over my three nights I started at the rack rate of 405 euro (+ breakfast!) and went down to 129 euro on the third night. If you can be flexible with dates you really should make sure you book with your eyes open! « less

Booked this hotel as part of a Eurostar package, on arrival was some confusion with the room availability which was dealt with swiftly but with little communication, the room was a reasonable size, very clean and the hotel was in walking distance of the main attractions. Some of the staff could have learned a little more in hospitality school, however, overall were pleasant and helpful. « less

We stayed there for 4 nights. Room was clean. Breakfast is not cheap but it was good. But we have a problem now. When I made check-in, 100eur was reserved from my credit card. I was told that this money will be returned after check-out. But unfortunately they were not. I wrote a letter to ask why they didn't return my money. But i didn't get answer. 6 days passed since i wrote it. I'm confused...One more fact. When i made check-out I paid for breakfasts. They counted only 3 breakfasts but we had 9. I told them about it ("I want to pay more"))) And now after my being honest, they cheated me or what? « less

We loved this hotel. The room was large and immaculate with a mini bar and a separate bathroom. Lovely large comfy bed. The pool area downstairs was great and very different I loved the rock effect. I would however never visit Brussels again as I found the city very dirty and did not get good vibes when walking about. « less
