I stayed at this hotel for one night while driving from charleston to milwaukee, Price was good, motion switch in bath kept going on and stayed on all night,had earplugs to make it a little easier. ice machine broken, bedding and towels seemed very old and worn. complained to red roof and was told the light switch must have been my imagination... I will pay more to stay somewhere eles if ever in this area again. « less

Stayed here one night. Great location with easy on/off access to I-65. Rooms were basic. I did like the flat screen tvs. They should get rid of the nasty hotel bed comforters. Bed was clean. Cooling system for room was old wall unit that didn't function properly. It was only about 60 outside, but I could see it being uncomfortable in the summer. Breakfast was subpar- lukewarm coffee and muffins from Costco. They did have a waffle maker. For $60/night, it was ok for one night. « less

I have stayed at this hotel once a month for about three years now. I travel for business and I have found this hotel to be the best value for the money. Rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff is very friendly. There is a microwave and a fridge in the room. They also offer breakfast. Overall I would recommend this hotel. « less

Stayed there just last night. Easy to check in, tho we arrived awfully late. Nice modern-looking room with nice updates: artisan sink/vanity, chic curtains. Nice to have both a microwave and a mini-fridge. Handy location, too: near every restaurant and type of shopping a person could want. Finally: very friendly family/staff asked about our comfort upon checking out. Loved having wifi. « less

My fiance, our friend, and I stayed here for a night to visit friends who lived in town. The receptionist was friendly, and the breakfast was good, but we ran into more problems than good things. We didn't have high expectations since we read some of the reviews, but we did not expect spotting TICKS crawling on the walls! (We saw at least FIVE of them!) The beds were also stiff, the alarm clock kept going off even though we didn't set it, and the refrigerator made a loud, rumbling noise throughout the night, so none of us got a good night's rest. Also, I went to check out and complain about our bug problem, and even after ringing the bell and waiting for a few minutes, there was no receptionist to attend to us. Very disappointed! I will no longer be staying at that hotel when I visit Lafayette again. « less

I apologize for your experience while visiting our inn. Cleanliness is a very important concern to us. Unfortunately, despite having done an extensive remodel, there are still some challenges we face doing business in a 30+ year old building. Like any other older building, it is prone to the occasional insect visitor. We do the best we can to stay ahead of it, and are successful in eradicating all but the most harmless of insects, with frequent visits from the exterminator. We are committed to giving every guest the best experience possible and I am sorry we fell short this time. The bed replacement is also to do list in this new year budget and it will be replace by early fall. We also sorry, for the missing you at the time of check out. We would not like to lose as a future guest and if you would ever this area called us directly for additional discount, I can assure you the corrective measurement will be taken towards your concern. Thank you for taking the time to provide us your feedback and I hope for the opportunity in the future to provide the level of service you were expecting.
