Spent three nights at the SpringHill Suites in West Mifflin with my wife, daughter and one year old grandson just to visit the Pittsburgh Zoo and PPG Aquarium, the Strip, Shadyside and Market District. Rooms were perfect. Breakfasts were very good. The staff from the Manager to Chong, a South Korean woman who replenished the breakfast buffet were all very friendly. They made you feel like family. I forgot to pre-order a crib and requested one from the front desk. Within five minutes a brand new Pack & Play was delivered to our room. I will stay here again when visiting Pittsburgh. I found driving to where we wanted to go easier from here than when I had stayed at a downtown Pittsburgh hotel in the past. « less

We spent a long weekend in late April visiting relatives all over Pittsburgh and this hotel worked out perfectly for us. The hotel and rooms are very clean, modern, and new.
While the location wasn't downtown and in a suburban type setting - it was only a 20 minute drive to Pittsburgh - it worked out fine because we didn't want to spend the money on downtown hotel prices for this particular trip and were willing to sacrifice a view of Pittsburgh for the neighboring Target.
The complementary breakfast had everything that you would want, and the indoor pool was a huge bonus for our twin preschoolers and offered a nice break from our busy weekend.
The staff was very friendly and very generous to our kids and they loved the complementary bowl of lollipops at the reception desk.
Overall I am very pleased that we chose to stay at this hotel and I am a very picky traveler when it comes to the cleanliness and newness of hotels. « less

My family lives around the country and needed to converge on Pittsburgh for a funeral. The SpringHill Suites in West Mifflin became our local command center and locus of energy. The staff was extremely flexible with our needs and regardless of the request, never said no.
Joanne Brinsky was most helpful and was one of the most empowered hotel employees we ever met, and in this case needed. She is our famly hero.
Thank you SpringHill Suites, their staff and Joanne. « less

We stayed in early March, 2013. Desk staff were extremely helpful in getting me into a HC accessible room when they noticed I was wearing a cast and was non weight bearing with that foot. Lobby area was clean, comfortable and modern; complimentary coffe and teas offered around the clock. Room was large, clean and very nicely decorated. Bathroom was huge - lots of room to maneuver in my knee walker. The roll in shower was very convenient and safe for me. Hair products were Paul Mitchell (nice!). Complimentary breakfast was excellent - waffles, eggs, ham, biscuits and gravy. Pool area was a little warm - but very nice. I would highly recommend this hotel. « less
