Originally built in 1831 as the hunting lodge and family retreat of the Duke of Sutherland, Lilleshall Hall is now better known as Lilleshall National Sports & Conferencing Centre. Set in breathtaking and secluded surroundings, Lilleshall is a flagship residential training centre and an award-winning National Centre of Excellence, providing a truly unique and inspiring conference and exhibition venue. The magnificent Lilleshall Hall stands in over 100 acres of gardens in the heart of Shropshire's glorious countryside and the Centre has been sympathetically updated over the years to provide a fully integrated range of conference, banqueting and accommodation facilities. Lilleshall National Sports and Conferencing Centre is the perfect choice for a venue that can add a real impact to any event. Whatever you need from your event, from corporate event in our superb 166 seat lecture theatre or one of a variety of different style meeting rooms to a Wedding or Residential Training Camp, we have something to offer. The newly re-developed Duke of Sutherland Suite is situated within the main house; with its oak-paneled walls and fabulous views of the Capability Brown Gardens, it makes the perfect venue. We also have a range of modern conference rooms in Queens Hall and for larger events, Ford Hall is an ideal facility, able to accommodate up to 360 for a reception and 250 for dinners and conferences. Ford Hall is also an ideal exhibition space with a full bar and seminar rooms all contained within one building. Recently refurbished to the highest standards, Ford Hall can be transformed to fit any occasion. The tented walls make a great backdrop and with a high trellis style, beamed Belfast Ceiling, which we believe is one of the finest examples of its kind in the UK, this is a unique facility to host your event. Lilleshall can also host weddings, dinners and celebrations in marquees for between 120 – 1000 guests. With the ideal mix of stately home and formal gardens, and using the Grand Entrance to the Main House, you can lead your guests through to a luxurious bespoke marquee erected within the grounds. Lilleshall also provides the ideal team building venue offering a vast range of different activities in one location. As an Elite National Sports Centre, we have our very own ‘Campus style’ accommodation on site for you and your friends and colleagues to stay with us. Three separate purpose-built accommodation blocks offer rooms for up to 150 guests. Each room is well equipped for study-based courses and nine rooms have been specially adapted for disabled guests. All the rooms have televisions and complimentary tea and coffee making facilities. Extensive FREE WiFi is available for residents along with ample FREE car parking. With our on-site bar and self service restaurant you can meet up with clients and colleagues in a more informal atmosphere. Private dinners can be arranged at a small additional cost. Have a walk in our 100+ acres of grounds and perhaps make use of some of the sport facilities available. (Sports facilities are subject to availability and must be pre booked before arrival – please contact for more details) Our on-site catering team are able to deliver an extensive range of catering from buffet lunches and silver service to barbecues, hog roasts and grand banquet.
