We stop at this hotel by recommendation of my son, each time we go to visit our grandchildren in N.C. We have never ever had a bad stay here in the 3 years we have stopped here coming and going to our destination. It is always spotless, the staff recognizes you and treats you as family, even from our first stop. The breakfast is always hot and good, we have swam in the pool and used the spa....all of it is a great experience. We have met many guests from other countries that state they will always stay at this hotel when in the U.S., We recently met a couple from Canada who had been there for a week touring, they also loved it, the convience of a grill on the patio outside the pool area is wonderful. The only other thing I can say is this hotel treats you as if you are family, all the relaxation you could possibly want. « less

We stopped here on our way home from our Florida trip. It was about 9:00 p.m. and we stopped as the kids were getting tired in the car. They had one room left, a king bed with pull out couch. It met our needs. The hotel is nice, clean and quiet. The breakfast the next morning was great. There were a variety of different items to choose from. My little ones loved the waffles. We didn't get to enjoy the pool as it was too late when we checked in and we left early the next morning. I would definitely stay here again when traveling to or from Florida. « less

I enjoyed the stay. The front desk people were very hospitable and I felt very welcomed. There was free lemonade and cookies. We traveled to Savannah and back every day, and the trip went by very fast. It wasn't an inconvenience to make the drive every day, and we computed the price of gas to cost less to make the trip than to pay for a more expensive hotel closer into town. The beds were clean and made daily, the room clean, and the service nice. I strongly disliked the fact that cookies are only serviced nightly at 6pm. Call me a fatty, but it was actually one of the reasons I picked the hotel. Other than that, it was worth the average of $82 dollars a night for 3 nights stayed. I would recommend it to my friends to stay there, although if you're picky, some of the things in the room could annoy you. The room was a little small, and the HDTV came with non HD channels. « less

One thing that does come in handy for most guests is the convenience of the 25 min drive to downtown Savannah, and for others not so much. We definitely come with the homey feeling and cleanliness. My fiance and I stayed here for three nights for our anniversary, the location was perfect as we had a short drive to Savannah each day but did not have to pay the outrageous prices of staying directly in Savannah. When we first arrived, we received complementary early-check in. When we got to our room, there was an overwhelming musty odor. We promptly went to the front desk and requested a new room. Without hesitation, we received a new room. The rooms were very clean, however, on the second night, there was a live cockroach in the bathroom. Every person was very kind and hospitable to our needs. Free cookies and nachos each evening! Along with around-the-clock free coffee and juices. The breakfast was decent with make your own waffles. We may be staying here again. « less

My husband and I always stay overnight at this hotel before heading to Port Canaveral to cruise. The staff members are always kind and helpful. The rooms are neat and clean. We are always pleased with our breakfast; the food is really good and it holds us until we board the ship in FL. Since we are AARP members and Best Western members, we tend to get our rooms at affordable rates. There is a strip of fast food restaurants and gas stations on Highway 17.You will not be disappointed with your stay at this Best Western hotel. « less
