My 85-year-old mother and I stayed two nights at the Best Western Post Oak Inn during the recent Bluebonnet Festival. The hotel was clean and quiet (inside and out) and hosted an excellent continental breakfast. I really want to compliment the owner of the hotel, who was on-sight on both weekend days, and who went out of his way to help my mother and I find a table during the breakfast time. The hotel was in an excellent location, was easy to find, and appeared to be one of the newer hotels in town. Also, if you are traveling with someone elderly or disabled, all rooms are on the ground level, with parking just outside our assigned room, which definitely made the stay much easier for my mother. I would definitely stay here again the next time I visit Texas Hill Country! « less

We paid a little more for our room than other reviewers have mentioned. This was with a AAA discount, too. Then again, it was during Spring Break week that we were traveling, so guess that comes with the territory. This motel was fine. Beds were ok, the area was quiet and we didn't hear much from neighbors. There were many neighbors when we went as I mentioned, this was Spring Break. There really is quite a pretty view from the back of the motel where the pool and some of the rooms are located (ours was). Staff who checked us in were very professional and courteous. Would stay here again. « less

The motel was very nice and it was clean. The price was right--less than $65.00. The provided breakfast was ok but not anything outstanding; it had juice, coffee, rolls, no eggs, etc... The rooms were neat and clean. The TV was the right size for the room (flat screen)--no squenting to see the picture. The bathroom has all the right stuff and was clean and the shower was a "full size" width of the room with a shower curtain and a low "step over." The beds were confortable. Management was very friendly as was the employees. Good place to stay--located on Hy 29 W. We would stay there again. « less

An older Motel that has been refurbished. It is very clean and the grounds, while not fancy, are well taken care of. Our room was large and comfortable, the bed was comfortable, plenty of large thick towels. The breakfast is OK, nothing fancy, but plenty to eat. Like other reviewers I found the night clerk less than friendly, no conversation, just business. « less
