This was the fourth time staying at this hotel in the last 18 months. The staff is friendly and willing to help with anything. They recently upgraded the breakfast area which was a great move. Parking can still be challenging at times. This hotel is close to just about everything. The rooms are clean and the hotel is quiet. I have stayed on all 3 floors and never heard my neighbors. Close to airport but don't hear planes unless outside. A simple, clean, quiet, friendly staffed hotel that I would stay at anytime I am in the area. « less

I made reservations for two rooms via a third party website. Before I booked, I called the hotel and was told that parking at the hotel was available with complimentary transport to Pittsburgh Airport. I was never told there was a charge for parking at the hotel. I checked in and was told that because I booked with a third party website, I had to pay $50 per car for parking. We had two rooms, two cars. It cost me $100! This is a ripoff. To make it worse, I asked for a break on one car and the worker told me she'd lose her job. Really? For being service-oriented rather than penalizing me for using a third party site. It's a La Quinta for God's sake! And it ended up costing me more than it would to stay at a 3 or 4 star hotel that INCLUDES parking and does not penalize guest for using a site that LaQuinta obviously has a relationship with. RIP OFF. PS: The rooms smell. I'd avoid it at all cost! « less

The gentleman at the front desk was extremely nice. We checked in later in the evening, but he was wide awake and friendly. We did not stay for breakfast, but the food looked very good with a nice variety. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The only issue was that the hotel was full that night-- we got the last room! It was difficult finding a parking space. Other than that, it was a very pleasant exprience. « less

If you are a LaQ fan you know...this is a property built by LaQ as an LaQ thus it has all the right feel for a fan. Well maintained, recently renovated to the new room type and bathroom fixtures. The breakfast is super busy as this is a big property near the airport so has a lot of people in a hurry to grab and go. That said, the staff did a nice job of keeping the stock up. The rooms are nice and relatively quiet. Do request a room on the back side... « less
