We are located just One Mile south of Berkeley Springs on Route 522, just 8 miles from Interstate 70 and 68 in the Eastern Panhandle of the beautiful mountain state of West Virginia. Opened in July 2002, each room is custom furnished with locally crafted furniture and includes in-room coffee, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, and cable television.
We are nestled in a pristine valley. Our community has the oldest warm spring spas in the country. We are a four-season destination with spas, arts, crafts, antiques, fishing, hiking, golf and white-water rafting or just old fashioned lazy float trips down local rivers. Festivals and fairs are held year-round with the biggest being our Apple Butter Festival, held Columbus Day weekend in October each year. We take great pride in our West Virginia Hospitality. This was a little difficult to find at night, as it is up high on a hill and the long driveway is not lit. Staff was quite friendly. Our room was clean. The walls are thin, but I did sleep quite well on the comfortable bed. TV reception was good. Breakfast was a bonus! Saw two tiny ants on the bathroom floor in the morning - weather had just changed drastically the day before so I assume the critters had just emerged for the spring. Overall, a nice stay and I would go back again. « less
