Howard Johnson is directly on the boardwalk and the beach. This Hotel has 7 floors, with 6 floors of indoor corridor rooms. All the rooms include microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker. We have an indoor pool and jacuzzi. The hotel has a full-service restaurant and bar on-site.

I was very happy with the location of this hotel, but a bit disappointed with the room. Upon entering we noticed something spilled down the front of the dresser and footprints on the wall! Everything else seemed clean. The bed was uncomfortable, it leaned to one side so you felt like you were going to fall out. The tv was fussy, only 1 channel in HD. We brought bathing suits but the pool was so cloudy we didn't go in. It was ok for the price but we won't stay there again.. « less

Overall a good experience!! Pool was clean along with the rooms and the hotel. The only things I can say is....I was a little fearful of the elevators and the bathroom was very small for 4 people. This has nothing to do with the Howard Johnson's hotel, but the restaurant downstairs has very long wait for service. Not impressed with that. Loved our HOJO stay though!!! « less
