Very nice business hotel with a friendly and helpful staff. My brother and rolled into this place late on a Thursday night. The desk clerk, Tamyus was very helpful - since we had no reservation - made sure we had a great room and even found us a place for a bite to eat. The breakfast is really basic, but good and the coffee is brewing all morning. In addition, the FREE WI-FI worked very well throughout the building. For the price, this place is hard to beat. « less

We've stayed in a LOT of Fairfield Inns, so everything about it is familiar. SLOW, small elevator for a small 3-story building. So...you'll want to take the stairs.

CNN blaring in the same nook.
But you know what? It's usually quite reasonably priced. You can count on it being clean, easy to check in, easy in and out and safe.
This location is no exception. Will stay here again when in Macon. Both ladies we encountered at front desk were lovely and friendly. Not much else to ask for. « less

We stayed on March 7th on the way to Flordia was charged $89 on the way back M arch 23rd we were charged $135. On the 23rd we were told they only had one room so since we were tired from driving in the rain all day we took it even though the price was higher than before. After dinner I had gone to get some ice and another guest was in the hallway we started talking. She said " oh we are so lucky we just got the last room". I said, oh you didn't have a reservation, she said "no" we were going to try to make it closer to Atlanta. Now this was 2 hours after we were just told we got the last room at a higher price. I contacted Fairfield Corporate they put me in touch with the Inns Mgr who said that was because we took a "spa" room, well duh! We would have taken something else if we were not lied to and told they only had one room. Then to make matters worse someone in the room above us kept running and banging things around we had to call front desk 2 times. If possible don't stay here! « less

The breakfast was sub par for hotel breakfasts. For our purposes, it worked, but we will probably look at other options the next time in Macon. On the bright side, we had a great dinner at Lisa's Diner, just a couple blocks away. « less
