LE PALACE HOTEL

Le Palace is a fine example of 1920s neoclassical architecture 100 metres from the historical centre of Thessaloniki and 1 kilometre form the airport. The 53 guestrooms are classically decorated with rich reds and golds and furnished with light oak; all of which air conditioning, balconies, clock radios, desks, direct dial phones, hair dryers, Internet connections, makeup mirrors, sofabeds and televisions.
The conference and business facilities, including business centre and 70 person conference hall, are favoured by local diplomats and ambassadors, the Canadian Consulate is housed in the same building. Le Palace Restaurant serves Mediterranean and European food in traditional surroundings. Guests can also expect a warm welcome in the lounge bar and coffee shop, while concierge is on hand to help with dinner reservations and show bookings. Practical amenities include cell phone rental, dry cleaning and parking (surcharge). Makedonia International Airport is 16 kilometres away.

Driving Directions - Le Palace Hotel

Transport to the city is either by taxi (approx 6 EUR) or by public bus No.78 (0.5 EUR). A cheap and extensive bus system operates throughout the town. Taxis are also plentiful and inexpensive, but traffic is often very heavy during rush hour.
From the airport, follow signs to city centre. The hotel is 150 metres past Aristotelous Square, on the left hand side. The railway station is located one kilometre from the hotel.
