The hotel room was comfortable- but no tub-and somewhat noisy because of the noise on the street. There was no parking-a block and a half away-I have a 2011 Jaguar-no one would tell me where my vehicle would be? Ok- then I had to find parking- in a public -outdoor- not gated-unsecured parking lot.it was 25.00- on the next block. Overall- The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, I wouldn't recommend for anyone with children or have a car of value the 24 hour restaurant w( next door)as a big hit! And so was the food. Free WiFi- was also a hit! If you are single and just need to be there for a night or two and not be in the room and have no car to park- it will be a good place to stay. « less

This Hotel has a great location if you want to be in the Gaslamp district, but I liked it's character, service, and the restaraunt attached. Alex at the front desk must sleep in the back because he was ALWAYS there and ALWAYS in a good mood. I don't know how he does it. Hats off to Alex. You can go on the rooftop and enjoy views of the city until 11pm and they have a DELICIOUS restaraunt attached to the hotel downstairs that's open 24hrs!! If you're not looking for anything too fancy and appreciate a historic hotel with lot's of character than this is a great place to stay. « less

Although my room was small, it had everything I needed. The hotel isn't a good choice if you have a disability since the elevators are SMALL and a little weird, and I didn't see any rooms on the entry level floor. The hotel is around a hundred years old, and that was one of the things I really liked about it. My room contained a queen size bed, and a tight bathroom. The sink was in the living/bed room. There was only a shower in the bath, no room for a tub. Since it was just me, the size of the room was fine but if my husband would have been with me we would have looked elsewhere. It would have been to cramped. The location is convenient to everything, and I had no problems with the staff. They where very helpful and knowledgable about the area. I didn't have a car to deal with so I can't comment on the parking. The restaurant that is connected to the hotel is open 24/7 and serve AMAZING food. « less

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. My purse and some jewelry were stolen from my room the first evening we went out, when I informed the manager he just smiled and said that they weren t liable. I even let him know that the door wouldn t shut right, and he had maintenance try to fix it. When the police came to write a report they also said that the door wouldn t shut right, and the manager still insisted that it wasn t their fault, and he wouldn t even try to put us in a new room since we didn t feel safe in our room. We also had to have maintenance come because the shower and toilet were backing up. Needless to say, this isn t a place that cares about the customer or their belongings...go somewhere else! « less

Testimonials: Why use Hotel Planner?
"I thank you for your assistance and plan on letting others know about your service so that they can utilize it for their upcoming functions. You're gonna end up putting Event Planners such as myself out of business! (LOL)" K.P. - Annapolis, MD
