Thanks again for Trip Advisor. We wanted to attend a performance at Celaya's Auditorio Francis Eduardo Tresguerras, Trip Advisor gave very good reviews of Casa Inn Business Celaya as #2 rated, and was a very short walk to the Auditorio. We were rewarded. The hotel was well run, with welcomes immediately upon arrival. The hotel is working hard to being "The" business hotel in Celaya. They have attuned their goal.
The rooms were as you would expect; very business like but just what we expect. The shower was great. And everything as as I expected.
Problems...Of course, with every very good report comes some unexpected problems. One of my pillows was stuffed with the remains of many other foam pillows that had fallen apart. Somewhat shocking for the presentation of the hotel. The other item was the bed sheets: they must have been a 100 thread count. It was like sleeping on hard washed linen sheets. So much for a glowing report about the beds. That would never happen. In the morning I took the pillow down to the reception desk and made sure they understood that this quality was not expected. I guess the only way the hotel can skimp in costs is to make the beds as unprofessional as possible. They will learn after a few, or many complaints.
The restaurant was very nice and moderately priced. Good coffee and a very nice buffet breakfast.

Maid service is great, morning breakfast ran about 150.00 pesos. Not the typical American breakfast but very good. Coffee out of this world.
Other then take just a typical hotel in my book or the Best Celaya can offer. « less

I travel to Celaya at least four times a year and always enjoy my stay at the Celaya Inn. The staff at the front desk are very welcoming, friendly and accomodating. There is always someone on staff who speaks English. The rooms are updated and clean. They have an on-site restaurant that offers room service. They are located very close (nice stroll) to a small shopping plaza with a SuperMarket and Shops. Perfect stop for the business traveler! « less
