I stayed here for business this week, and enjoyed my brief stay. I am an HHonors member so I've stayed at numerous Hampton Inn properties across the land. This hotel has all the amenities of the chain, in a smaller than typical building. The room was clean, the staff was pretty friendly, and breakfast was just fine. I didn't use the fitness room, so can't attest there. « less

Staff was very polite, room was modern and well furnished. But the floor was dirty and they didn't inform us when making the reservation just 3 days proir at this location that the pool/hot tub were closed for construction and that we had to drive down to the neighboring hotel to use there pool/hot tub. Very disappointing. « less

For the average Hampton visitor you will not be disappointed. The room was clean, staff was friendly, and food hot. We could tell the rooms have been updated, and quiet. The rooms are a little small, and space well used. They need to add a bench near the entrance to sit your suit case on or just use to sit and put on your shoes. A coat hook peg board above a bench would be great to. This location is very far North and many people wear coats while visiting. « less

Stayed here for two nights the last weekend of April. The staff was friendly and very helpful in providing directions and a map of the area. Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The lobby, halls and other common areas were clean. Pool area was closed for maintenance. Breakfast was good - plenty of options. The hotel is located across a busy street (use the crosswalk) from a nice park and beach on the East arm of Grand Traverse Bay. It's about 3 miles to the downtown area - there are not sidewalks in some stretches along the road so walking into town is not easy. « less
