Great location minutes from Campus. We had the 2 floor, 2 bedroom loft room. Room has full kitchen & 2 baths. Loads of space. This location offered an afternoon "hospitality hour" that we missed, but included pizza & beverages. Full hot breakfast included with eggs, muffins, Belgium waffles and the regular assortment of cold cereal, fruit & pastries.
Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable.
Signage is not great. Driving east past college, take the second left. There's a little sign, about 12" square that says Residence Inn, and you make a U turn to the right from the main road into the parking lot, which is right next to a FOX TV station. « less

The entire team at the Residence Inn Binghamton located in Vestal, New York is eagerly awaiting your arrival. As you know, sometimes treasures are hard to find. We believe that is why Map Quest and other GPS systems have such a hard time finding us!
To help with your travels, we have enclosed additional directions we hope will guide you right to our hotel from the Vestal Parkway (route 434). We have found that certain guides do not list us on Service Road where we are actually located.
TRAVELING ON 434 EAST: Go past the entrance of Binghamton University (should appear on your right). Go through one light and then straight over a small hill. At the bottom of the hill, there is a right-hand turn lane. Make this right onto Plaza Drive. Make an IMMEDIATE SHARP RIGHT onto Service Road. You will see our Residence Inn Marriott sign at the top of the hill.
TRAVELING ON 434 WEST: Look for Tully’s Good Times restaurant and the University Plaza on the left side. Proceed slowly; you will see a left-hand turn lane with a large white arrow painted on the pavement immediately after University Plaza. Turn left here onto Plaza Drive. Take an IMMEDIATE SHARP RIGHT onto Service Road. You will see our Residence Inn Marriott sign at the top of the small hill.

Stayed here for two nights in March. Arrived at 11 am and was permitted to check in. Studio was huge - queen bed, sofa in sitting area and full kitchen with big table. Only cleanliness issue - there were a couple of bugs trapped in the light over the sink buzzing around but it didn't bother me enough to call the desk.
The service was great. Everyone was friendly and pleasant. Example - I was in the "fitness room" - two nice treadmills and two crappy ellipticals - on a treadmill with someone on the treadmill next to me. Just as we were both getting up to speed, a fuse blew. I walked to the lobby (ten feet away) and advised them. The response was that sometimes when two people are on the treadmill - on the same circuit - it blows. When I asked why they didn't address the problem, they indicated that they couldn't change it.
Annoying, but I moved to the treadmill and let my neighbor continue on the treadmill. In came the front desk person - she handed us each a bottle of water to apologize and said there was a gym down the road where we could go for free. There is a planet fitness in the shopping center next door however - while they had no deal with them, she offered to deduct the daily charge for planet fitness from my bill - very cool.
They offer dinner mon - Thursday - food is nothing special but it's free. Breakfast is really good - love the waffle machine, lots of toppings, hot food etc.
Little note - I was eating the free dinner Tuesday night reading trip advisor reviews where someone mentioned that they had complimentary slippers. I asked, they checked, and I walked out with the last pair.
I was in room 513, ground floor around the back. It was quiet enough - I heard some movement above but nothing out of the ordinary.
There is also plenty of good food options minutes away.
All in all, a nice stay - I would definitely stay here again. « less

I took a chance and bid on priceline, was able to obtain Residence in Binghamton. Check in was very quick, quiet clerk though. Room was very nice, loved the kitchen area; full refrig, stove, dishwasher, great!! Bathroom area was ok, actual bathroom was kind of let down. Only problem to the room was it was cool and drafty. Floor is on a slab and rug was thin, definately bring your slippers, lots of cold air came in through the door and under door, took pillows from couch to help with draft. Breakfast was pretty good,potatoes were good, nice variety, sausage needs help, don't take it under cooked. Impressed they allowed to go boxes. Overall rating great if I can get for the priceline value would not pay full price though. Oh bed is pretty comfy!! Room was pretty quiet in the pm but did hear the people upstairs walking around in the morning but at least it was after 8am « less
