Cons Room appeared clean, but still didn't like walking around bear foot. Bring your own iron. They do not have them in the rooms. You can check them out, but must return quickly. Bed feels kind of like an air mattress.

I apologize for any inconvenience this may have created. We do have superior king rooms that come with micro/fridges, coffee makers, iron and boards. I’m not sure why you suggested not staying near the lobby and would have appreciated hearing your explanation. Travelling with our small dog requires some planning to find places to stay that will accept pets. Red Roof is always reliable because I understand that the entire chain is pet friendly. The room was clean, but lacking most amenities. No coffee pot, frig, microwave or even a hair dryer. Like to Boy Scouts, you should Be Prepared. « less

We stayed here for three nights while attending the ACC basketball tournament. The price for the hotel was very good compared to other hotels in the area. Our room had new carpet and bed linen. The room was very clean. The hotel is very basic so do not expect a bunch of frills. You are simply getting a clean and affordable room with great location to the arena and other local attractions. We will stay here again next year when we go back to watch the Canes defend their ACC title. « less

Overall a good place to sleep while on the run. Wouldn't be a great place if we needed to spend a lot of time in the room but for this occassion, all we needed. « less
