The Comfort Inn was a bad hotel. Many times my key did not work, and I was unable to go into the room. Also, the breakfast was of unacceptable quality for a hotel. The location was terrible! I had to walk A LONG WAYS to get from the monuments in Philly to the Comfort Inn. This hotel is not even in Philadelphia! It's in a nearby town called Essington. DO NOT STAY HERE! « less

At check in I was told I could have a fridge and microwave in my room, so that I could heat up dinner after work. That evening I came home to no microwave or refrigerator. I was told on the phone that it was first come first serve. Why tell me I could have something, without checking if it was available. This hotel needs a lesson in customer service. Night three and I still have no microwave or fridge. I wonder if by Friday one might magically appear? « less

The room (118) had some minor issues mainly in the decor stakes, especially the bathroom. Nothing that couldn't be solved with some redecoration.
Normally I would have given an average rating but the hotel staff were absolutely excellent, especially the transfer bus drivers. We used the bus every day for 5 days as we used the hotel as a base for exploring central Philly. 10 mins on the free bus and 25 mins on the twice hourly train into central phille ($11 for an all areas inc buses & subway daily pass).
At the rate we got it was absolutely the right decision to stay near the airport rather than pay the massively over inflated central Philly hotel prices.
Decent eating places nearby (free hotel transfers) including the Philly Diner right next door.
Would definitely use again. The Comfort Inn breakfast was up to its usual standard which suits us. « less

The breakfast was not bad, about what I expect for this kind of place. It's not the Ritz-Carlton, but was well worth the price for Park & Fly. I would return any time I'm flying out of Philadelphia. « less

This was a nice and convenient place to stay during my trip to Philadelphia this last weekend. It's pretty basic, but to me having the airport shuttle, even at 4am was a big plus. The staff are helpful and have a great sense of humor as well. It's not too terribly far from the city center, but cab fare is a little pricey. There are a few places to eat nearby if you don't mind walking maybe 15-20 min each way. « less
