If you're hard up for a cheap place to sleep, then OK. The pool is gone and the breakfast STINKS! Stayed in two rooms recently, both had HD TVs, but one was poor. Beds - some soft some hard - pillows - crappy. One room had thermostat heat/AC, other just dial. Stevens transport uses this place like a dorm for its drivers, so the hotel gets away with offering poor service. Housekeeping needs to get a vacuum that reaches at least a little under the bed. They DID NOT come by everyday. The towels (2) were pathetic! One room had NO closet and broken microwave. « less

The motel was just awful and dirty and old. The rooms are designated for smokers and nonsmokers unfortuanetly the non smoking rooms all smell like smoke, I hope you like roaches they are everywhere and management knows it and don't care. The hotel is filled at a constant basis for Truck drivers that fill the campus of this Motel. The beds are vey hard the walls look termite infested the popcorn in the ceiling needs to be checked for toxic or deadly products that do harm to a person, the Management knows it. The stairs to the second floor are unsteady and rusted. I vote this hotel Americas Worst and un safe « less

Rooms are dirty and dingy. Actually the whole property is old and not very well maintained.
One morning while in the shower I was just about to soap up my wash cloth when I happened to get a good look at it. I found quite a few little black kinky hairs in it. I have video proof of this.
A/C wouldnt keep up with the Texas heat. Rooms were hot, especially on the west side of the property.
I would never stay here if it was on my dime. This place is bad.
Since my stay here I have stayed at other America Bests and they really were not bad at all. Nothing like this one. « less

While traveling through the Dallas area the choice to stay here was a last minute, too tired to drive decision. There was ample truck parking and a Wal-Mart close by which was a good perk. Otherwise, this property doesn't have much going for it except the price. I will note that the Motel 6 right down the street from this hotel is usually cheaper and in much better shape.
Pros: Many stores within a 5 minute walking distance, close to interstate, Fridge and Mirco in room
Cons: Room was dingy and filthy, bathroom was not well cleaned, beds were uncomfortable
In comparison to other AmBest's (and I have only stayed at one other) I would rate this a 4 our of 10. Overall, this is a 5 out of 10.

Two kinds of cereal, milk, and juice. Not a very good place to stay. We left early and checked into the motel that keeps the light on. We will never go back. « less
