The lobby looked very nice, but looks can be deceiving! The hotel claimed it was 100 percent smoke free, but the smell in the room indicated otherwise. Not to mention the cigarette burn marks on the bedspreads. There were holes in the bathroom door and mold all around the tub! Horrible experience! « less

Parking is tight on this lot, rooms require steps or lots of walking to get to, of course depending on room location. Room cleanliness has room for improvement with little attention to detail, especially in the bathroom.
Carpet in room is showing its age, but overall the room was fine.
I would stay here again but would just not be my first choice. « less

Friendly staff at check in. The lobby is very nice and up to date. Can't say that the rooms are freshly up to date but they were clean and comfortable. The hotel has a strange layout to it. It didn't affect my stay, it was just weird. My room was however just on the other side of the breakfast room. I was awaken around 5 in the morning with the sound of cabinet doors slamming, and other breakfast making noises (what ever those were). Long story short... It was comfortable and clean. I would stay there again. I would just request a different room. « less

We spent a night at the Comfort Inn in Kimball, Tn on our way to the Unclaimed Baggage store in Scottsboro, AL. It was a very comfortable room with lots of choices in restaurants for the evening meal. The hot breakfast in the morning was average for a Comfort Inn. « less

Check in Clerk was great. Room appeared nice. Next morning cock roaches on wall between bed and bathroom. Killed some took to front desk. Not very concerned. Did not stay the planned 2nd night. Filled out card at the hotel, went to Choice hotels website, told them of problem. Filled out the generic survey I received by email, told them about the cock roaches. No response from anyone. I stay in Choice hotels all the time in Michigan. Would not stay at Kimball again. Acted like it was normal to have cock roaches, didn't even look surpriesed when I went down the desk. « less
