We decided to go to Arlington to take our daughter out for her birthday (She is a student at UTA). I booked a room online and, being in a hurry, put in the wrong date. When I arrived, the young lady at the desk (Star was her name) was unbelievably helpful in straightening out the mess I had made and was able to get us a very nice room for the night. She also took care of canceling the reservation that I had incorrectly booked. The hotel is older but well-kept, breakfast was very good, extra towels were obtained easily, and the location is very convenient (right by the mall and lots of restaurants). « less

Stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. The location is great, feels and looks safe, clean rooms (smelly due to the fact that probably my room used to be for smokers, and the smoke scent is still there). Maid is fast and accurate. Breakfast beyond expectations, large variety of choices, milk, cereal, coffee, bisquets and gravy, fruit, etc. Had problems with my electronic key. Would not work as expected. Went down to the front desk in the morning, and the lady sitting at the desk told me literally "Are you able to get in your room, after trying several times?" I answered yes. She responded "Well, I'm sorry but that's all I can do for you." "If you can open the door with the electronic key, there's nothing else we can do about it". (The door lock card reader is worn out and needs to be changed). Breakfast is very busy from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. During our stay the hotel was probably 80% full. Can you imagine a breakfast area with 4 tables? Two families took the 4 tables and relaxed after breakfast by having a family breakfast party. We waited over 35 minutes and had to leave. How can you offer a great breakfast with seating for 16 people? « less

I will start by saying that I never liked hotels with access to rooms from the street, but I only realized this when I got there since the pictures on their website were not clear. The rooms were spacious but not perfectly clean (not what you expect in a hotel at least). Employees were polite and helpful. The breakfast was decent although you had to find someone to bring more things all the time since it had very small quantities of everything. The breakfast area is very small and dirty, like the reception area. The price is ok, but I am sure I would be able to find something better on the same price. « less

I wasn't even supposed to stay here. Priceline.com (Name Your Own Price) has me at another nearby hotel, but when I arrived to check in, they were suffering a power outage. So I called Priceline customer service and they moved me to a comparable nearby hotel, which turned out to be this little gem, the Best Western Cooper Inn & Suites.
I was in Room 116, near the end, and stayed Sunday thru Thursday. Absolutely no problems - no bed bugs, no smoke smell, no rowdy neighbors, no insects, not a problem ONE. Not many times in my 49 years have I stayed at such a trouble-free hotel. The shower was perfect (pressure, temperature, cleanliness) and the room was very well-equipped with a microwave, mini-fridge, and sofa with coffee table, plus a work desk.
Should I need to be in this area again, I will definitely keep this little 2-star find on my short-list of nice, comfortable, clean, affordable, trouble-free hotels. « less

I had a 2 item list - have all the stuff, and the room should not smell like smoke. The could not manage this. They gave me 3 rooms in 2 days, and couldn't get the list completed. I told them the 2nd time that I was going to work and they had to move me during the day, because if I moved myself, I was going to move to the Marriot. Room 1 - no couch or upholstered chair, just 2 office charis, funky smell, but not horrible. Room 2 - horrible smoky smell, w/cigarette burns on the paintwork, no ironing board, no shampoo. Room 3 - very bad cigarette smell, and the desk chair was jammed in the down position. I had to flip it and fix it myself. STAFF - some good, training needed for some, and absolutely no oversight on the maintenance personnel. When they moved me, the clothes I had laid out were in a pile, and then needed ironing. I've stayed here 4-5 times in the last few years, but will never return. « less

Testimonials: Why use Hotel Planner?
"Thanks for the feedback. I will definitely use your site in the future. This was my first time setting up a conference for a government agency so I have learned a lot. By having the hotels bid for business or at least advise if they could accommodate was a HUGE time saver. I started by throwing darts at hotels in certain locations and cold calling them before I found your website! I really appreciate yours and the teams help." C.B. - Denver, CO
"My experience was great and the responses back from the various hotels were prompt. Using your site saved me the time it would have taken me to contact all of the Vegas hotels, one by one." C.D. - Detroit, MI
