Staff tried their best to meet our needs and we were thankful for that - We were told upgrades had been done but we discovered there appeared to be inconsistent. « less

I have stayed at several Country Inn & Suites both for business and leisure. I have always had a great experience. I was concerned this time because I read some of the negative reviews before I made my reservation but there were more good reviews so I took a chance. I got there before the official check in time and was told it was no problem, our room was ready. They are a green hotel and the clerk explained putting an extra key card, which they provided in the green box inside the room to operate all the electricity. She also explained the free breakfast, cookies, fruit and coffee in the lobby. She even told me where to park so I would be right outside of the room. I was meeting a friend there and told her if my friend should show up, it would be ok to give her my room number. She asked for my friend's name so she would be sure it was the right person.
The room was very clean, comfortable beds and pillows. My friend mentioned the next morning when we woke up that I should check my pillows. Each of us had 1 hard pillow, 1 medium pillow and a soft one. It was like giving goldilocks a choice of pillows.
The free breakfast was great, waffles, eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, coffee, juice, along with pastries, cereal, toast, and bagels. We couldn't ask for anything more.
The first night we were there, the hotel was quiet with very few guests. The 2nd night there were many more cars in the lot and the walls aren't soundproof. That is the only negative thing I could say but I would recommend it to anyone. « less

There were numerous good things to say about this motel. The room was clean, spacious, and on the first floor which we had hoped for. Our friends room was right next door, a very thoughtful gesture from the staff. The bed was so very comfortable with fitted sheets that actually fit! I could have slept all day. The bathroom was clean with plenty of nice towels and wash cloths for two people. That was a great idea, and simple, to use the key to turn off the lights in the room. We enjoyed having coffee and cookies with our friends when we got back from dinner and had a nice place to sit and visit there in the lobby. Breakfast was great! My husband prefers Cheerios for breakfast, however there were many other good choices. Check in and check out were very simple. We plan on this being our stay on our way home from Florida each trip, a couple of times a year. « less

We love staying at Country Inn and Suites, because they have one bedroom suites which is perfect for family stays. But..this place is the worst Country Inn and Suites in the Country.
First, no elevator! I have 3 kids and I have to lug 5 suite cases up a flight of stairs? Second, no in door pool. Kids were in the car all and they could not swim. Three, Rude staff.
When we asked to change to another hotel, the staff told us no, which was fine, but when we asked to talk to the manager they said that the manager was unavailable. So we packed up and got ready to leave and we over headr the staff member talking to the manager. And when we asked if we could talk to the manager, he said they said he is unavailable and refused to let us talk to them. At every country inn and suites, there is always a manager on duty. After that we just left. We forfeited our money and left.
So if you are in KY and need to stay in a Country Inn and Suites, skip Corbin and keep driving. « less

After all day on the road we arrived at this hotel. We were greeted by a very friendly night desk clerk and warm just baked cookies. Our suite was large, clean and comfortable. When we went to check out the next morning the desk clerk commented that he didn't see us at breakfast. He graciously offered us muffins and juice to take with us. I highly recommend this hotel. The staff makes this place extra special. « less
