My family stayed at Royale Parc for a week and loved every minute of it. I really like how every room faces the pool and courtyard. The price was good for the rooms. We really like the 2 bedroom suite with kitchen. Everyone was courteous and professional. I feel if we had a problem they would have taken care. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip. « less

We were very pleased with this suite. We were a bit concerned at some of the reviews but for us, we were pleasantly surprised to find everything in order. The breakfasts were ample. Saved money by eating the breakfasts everyday. The hotel is quite central although we had a hire car to go further a field. Kissimmee old town is great especially at night. We definately recommend it. « less

Back in January we stayed in Orlando at the Best Western and were terribly disappointed. This time we decided to use one of the Choice Hotels and since we always enjoyed Kissimmee, we made reservations at the Quality Suites. It turned out to be better than we ever expected. From the warm greetings at the front desk for check in to our last day, the stay was wonderful. The hotel offered one bedroom and two bedroom suites. Since it was only the two of us, we felt the one bedroom was sufficient, and it was. We walked right into a living room with a sofa that opened into a king size bed. There was also a two door closet in case we had guests and the TV stand served as a three drawer bureau. They also had an ironing board and iron (but who irons these days). The TV was a LG Flat Screen and had tons of stations. Just off the living room was a bath and a kitchenette which had upper and lower cabinets. You also had a two burner electric, glass top stove and a small refrigerator. The kitchenette was equipped with silverware, pots and pans, glasses, mugs and dishes. Our bedroom had two double beds, closet with shelving, and a safe. It also had a three drawer dresser and a LG Flat Screen TV. There was enough room for luggage and clothing to last a week or two. Did I say we were impressed!!!!!
The hotel offered both a cold and hot breakfast every morning. The cold breakfast was cereal for either yourself or the kids. The hot breakfast consisted of scrambled eggs (not the powdered) every day, but the other specials changed each day. It could be pancakes, sausage, bacon or ham. Always one or two additional items. Besides bread there was always a choice of a danish, biscuit, muffin, though these would change daily as well. Coffee was either decaf or regular and you could always find a full container in the lobby if you wanted it later. Choice of juice, hot water for tea, and of course milk for the cereal or for a glass. There was plenty of seating either inside or out. Florida weather is usually great, so eating outside may be a fun choice, especially if you are from a cold climate. Eating a full breakfast saved you from looking for a spot or waiting in line at Disney.
Another great thing about this hotel was that W. Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy.,is actually Rte. 192 and finding a restaurant or two is just across the street or down the road. Either direction you will find many choices including Olive Garden, The Sizzler, Ponderosa, The Golden Corral, Chinese Buffets, Logan's, etc.just to name a few. For those of you who enjoy shopping, there are at least three flea markets right on this road and yes, you can bargain. Sam's Club is to your right about a mile from the hotel, as is Target, Bealls Outlet, Marshalls, Big Lots etc..There are also Outlet Malls and the people at the front desk can easily give you the directions or an address for your GPS. Happy Shopping!!!!
There is a shuttle from this hotel to Disney. They leave twice in the morning and pickup is either at 8pm or 10:30pm, This is the only draw back with the hotel. I would have expected at least one pick up between 3pm and 5pm in case you wished to return at an earlier time. After all, Disney Park is a walking park and one does tire after being on your feet all day. The other draw back was reading the "leave a tip" sign. There were at least 5 in English and 5 in Spanish. I would assume that the additional fees or taxes at most hotels pays the driver a sufficient salary. The Disney buses from the hotels in Orlando would use their microphone for this purpose. However, you do have the option of driving to Disney and parking in their lot. The fee is $14, and though you may have quite a walk to the entrance, you have the option at no additional cost, to take the shuttle. Also, be aware, because of the times we are in, your bags are searched prior to entering by policemen. Lines are long, but they move fast.
The Shuttle from the hotel goes to either Magic Kingdom or Epcot. In our case, we wished to return to Hollywood and found that taking the Monorail took less than 5 minutes from Magic Kingdom. Besides, it was a wonderful adventure, especially if you have never been on one.
We gave the hotel a four star, because, there is room for improvement. Maid service was great, however, the towels needed to be replaced in some instances. They weren't dirty, but some were scratchy or had stains that didn't come out in the wash. Linens were absolutely clean and the bed always neat and inviting.
The hotel claims that they had recently been renovated. However, the bathroom was not new and the tub really needed to be replaced or resurfaced. The luster was gone. I noticed that the coffee table in the living room was scratched and the sofa bed was not new because in sitting you were almost on the floor. The bedroom was in real good shape. New boxspring and mattress and tons of pillows. Very comfortable and sleeping was no problem for us even in a different atmosphere. That being said, yes, we would return even for an overnight stay. Why not. You are about 2 miles from Disney, and if you are traveling the Rte 4 corridor, a mile from the highway. Plus, your GPS can relax because everything is on this road.
The pool was clean and inviting. However, after a day out just was too lazy to change. Elevators were at each end of the hotel and never a wait time. Ample parking as well. I did notice an RV in the lot and it had plenty of room. There was a gift shop as well as a pizza and sandwich area in the hotel. Outside, by the pool, there was a bar which offered happy hour drinks between 5pm and 7pm on weekdays. No hors doeuvres, though you could order what you liked.
The hotel did offer free WiFi. However, their connectivity could use an upgrade. I had a tablet and found it difficult to sign on and be on the Internet. Speaking to other guests, I found they also had a problem with their laptops. At first we thought it was our machines, but as it turned out it was the hotel's problem. The signal is very weak, even in the living room where it was supposed to be the strongest. I know that their cable company is Brighthouse and they may be able to help in alleviating the problem.
Oh, almost forgot. The hotel also offers you an opportunity to barbecue. The smell of hotdogs and hamburgs being made on the grill made us very hungry. Almost next door to the hotel is a Publix Supermarket. There are other choices for picking up a few things across the street as well. « less

This hotel is great for the price and thats exactly why its cheap. We stayed there this week and I was shocked how my room was falling apart. The door handles were all broken, the shower handles were broken. None of the doors locked and there was a huge hole in the wall hidden by a curtain. The housekeeping staff did not even clean the bathrooms they were really dirty.
I personally would not recommend this hotel nor will I be returning. « less

The room smelt a bit musty but the 2 bedroom suites are large and have everything that you would need. The staff are friendly and there free coffee 24hrs a day. The breakfast has deteriorated since we last stayed a few years ago but the dollar a beer during happy hour makes up for this. Overall you get very good value for money and a reasonable nights stay. « less
