Just imagine an indoor waterpark that’s 35,000 square feet of pure, water-soaked fun! That’s exactly what visitors will find at The Edge in Duluth, Minnesota. Now open, The Edge takes guests far away to a tropical island—with an exploding volcano as the centerpiece and Polynesian-themed water adventures all around. Two four-story slides will take guests on thrilling rides. One is a tube slide and the other is a body slide. A portion of both slides actually run outside of the building! The park also features a large play area for younger children. They’ll love the six-inch deep pool that has several small slides, a huge waterfall bucket that dumps 300 gallons of water every few minutes, and other fun features. Older kids will energetically take on the challenge of trying to “escape” the vortex pool, and those who want to relax can float along the 400-foot long lazy river and enjoy the tropical scenery. The park is part of a 300-room hotel that overlooks beautiful Lake Superior and features several types of rooms, including two-room and kid suites.
