All of our rooms include Hyatt Grand beds, 42-inch plasma screen televisions with high definition programming, 8-foot sectional sleeper sofa that pulls out into a queen size bed, and refrigerators. Our lobby has been converted into a gallery that will include self check-in, bakery-cafe with 24-hour food service, the bakery-cafe will also serve six different types of beers and four different types of wine.

We stayed at the Hyatt for a small getaway to take our toddler to the Fort Wayne Children's Zoo. We were very pleased with our stay there. Our room was right next to the elevators, yet we were not bothered by any noises from it or from people in the halls. The free, hot breakfast was great. Lots of choices, especially better healthy choices. The staff was exceptionally friendly, offering my husband a serving tray to bring our breakfast back to our room as our toddler ended up getting sick on our trip. The location is very close to the Glenbrook Square Mall, a shopping plaza, the zoo, and a really great Putt Putt Golf/Arcade we came across. We will definitely stay at this Hyatt again! « less

Recently we traveled to Fort Wayne with a group for a sports tournament. We had stayed at a Hyatt Place location in Indianapolis last year and were grateful for a seamless stay.
Highlights for our groups of our stay at Haytt Place FW was the amazing hot free breakfast, the welcoming, friendly, helpful staff, and the spaciousness of the rooms. There were only compliments from our group.
The only down side is the size of the bathrooms. The bathrooms are not traditional but only have a toilet and shower. This is problematic for some in our group who are disabled teenagers/adults and need caregivers to lift them on and off the toilet and in and out of the bathtub. There is not enough room to safely or comfortably assist someone in the bathroom. A room with a roll-in shower would not work either because these individuals are not able to bring shower chairs with them.
I would recommend this hotel to most people but the bathroom does not work for a subset of disabled individuals. Unfortunately, our group will be unable to book with Hyatt Place in the future. Thank you for two excellent stays. « less

This is a fairly new hotel so we thought we would give it a try while traveling to Florida. The usual Hyatt service came through "loud and clear" from the time I entered the check in area. The young lady at the desk greeted me as a Hyatt Gold member, and asked what brought us to the hotel. I told her we were going to Florida for several months and she was so happy for us. Her reaction was very sincere and not spoken as "the thing to do".
We used the galley that night for sandwiches and had them sent to our room. The quality of the food and service was exemplary and the serving size was just right. The morning breakfast offering was also excellent. We will stay there again in the future if in the area!
The only negative to this brand is I have found the bathrooms to be very small. There is plenty of room in the sleeping area as well as the living area, but they cut the bathroom space too much. « less
