I high recommend this hotel if you are visiting Austin. The location is great with a lake and a beautiful trail right outside of hotel and a short distance to downtown. The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful (special thanks to Thomas!). I was given a beautiful room with a lake view. I couldn't be happier. I didn't give a five star only because I think room could be a little cleaner. But, it is not bad. « less

Just got back from a weekend in Austin and had a great stay at the Holiday Inn Town Lake. Everything was just how I remembered. The front desk was amazing (Thank you Thomas, Stella and everyone). My room was great. Loved the view of Town Lake and Austin. One suggestion...the food in the restaurant is great - avoid the nasty looking food trucks at all costs! Can't wait to visit again! « less

They had some great recommendations for food and entertainment. The lake just behind the property complimented the hotel nicely. The location was very convenient to downtown area. I did not care for the food much, just a little bland for my taste. Overall it was an excellent stay and I would definitely stay again. « less

This location was perfect for our 5 days in Austin. What a memorable time!! Our rooms were clean and cozy and the view of the lake was fabulous! The staff was terrific. From the shuttle drivers to housekeeping, they were personable and professional!!! They went out of their way to make sure I was able to add a room at the last minute and not only did that, but made it an adjoining room to the other members !! The staff in the lounge and restaurant were fabulous, and the food was good too!! They made our stay even better!! « less

Had to stay overnight in Austin and this was a very pleasant surprise. The location was just off of I-35 and right on the river (Town Lake.) It was just a couple of blocks from the 6th Street action. The staff was professional and very friendly. Room was clean and welcoming. They provided a nice snack package and free bottles of water. Parking was extremely convenient. « less

Our location is one of our greatest assets and puts our guests on the lake and a short distance from the city center. Also, the Rainey Street area has blossomed into a major entertainment district in the last couple of years, it's just a couple of block to our north. Check it out the next time your come
