We stayed 1 night for a short city break. Excellent service throughout. Checkin very prompt. We were upgraded to an exec room as I am a Platinum Priority Club member, and the room was very good. Good location - just 5 minutes walk and you are in the heart of Brussels, less than 10 mins to Grand Place. Good location for train and Metro. Lots of bars and restuarants around. Busy area but safe feel. Very clean and tidy and staff helpful. Generally, good value hotel for business or city trips. « less

This full service business hotel is located one subway stop from the North Station, and is also walkable from there if you feel like it. The room was fairly large, comfortable, and clean. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and performed at the level I would expect in a hotel of this class.
The subway stop is literally across the street from the hotel, so transportation is simple.
It is located in a business district with a number of other large chain hotels, with a few non-hotel restaurants in the area. The hotel restaurants are quite expensive, and given the paltry offerings in the neighborhood we had to go to other areas to eat. There are a couple of small supermarkets in the immediate area. As a side note, some limited selection of food, drink, beer, wine, and essentials are available at somewhat reasonable prices (in the context of where you are) next to the concierge desk, if you get in late. « less

very close to Brussel Gare du Nord which is convenient. Hotel itself is dated and fairly dark inside. The executive room was very large and comfortable. Bathroom with all amenities and good quality beds. When I noticed that the airco was not working they reacted immediately and technical maintenance was there within minutes and fixed the problem. Also reception staff very friendly. Had lunch on the terrace outside the restaurant. Food quality very good but service extremely slow. Breakfast in the restaurant good but not spectacular. All in all you cannot go wrong in this hotel but it does not stand out in any way. « less

I have stayed here many times before. I booked again for dates in June 2013 and noticed that there is a price guarantee that the price would not be beaten and if so the first night was free. I found a cheaper offer. Room in website is 184.00 but on another price comparison site it is 183.00. I booked according to the terms. I then went to submit for the offer only to be met with a flat refusal on a calculation based on US Dollars and not Euro. The response from IHG was poor, dismissive and lacking in any meaningful gesture. For this reason, please consider how the hotel treats returning guests. I do not write many reviews, but I am deeply annoyed by this poor customer service. I have full documented evidence for the above. « less
