The Elara is in a great spot on the Strip with easy access to major roads, airport, shopping and casinos. The staff were very helpful and pleasant at all times and we felt safe due to the security in place, you had your key scanned in each time you went to your room. The room wS well equipped with dishwasher, fridge, safety deposit box, coffee machine etc, nicely decorated to a high standard with great view of the pool below. The pool area was clean with plenty of free seating, towels and there was an upgrade choice which wasn't too expensive was linked to amount of food purchases(if you spent $100 on food in a day the upgrade was free) not sure how much the cabanas were though. The Elara is part of the Miracle Mile Shopping Centre which was great to have a wander round, plenty of places to eat and also entertainment venues on site. The down side was, we could hear the emergency sirens each night but that may because we were on the 10th floor, our chioce. The restaurant was open and not very intimate however it was clean and seemed to offer a good choice, we never ate here. Would definitely stay here again!!!!! « less

Doesn't have a casino.That counts as a plus, cause you can find them anywhere, but you can have your privacy. Didn't tried the pool or restaurants, cause there where so many choises.. « less

We stayed at Elara for 5 nights and could not have asked for more. The entire staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a pleasant stay and that we did. The hotel is centrally located and you can walk to most places on the central strip. We prefer to stay in non-casino hotels and this fit that bill - it is connected to Planet Hollywood by a large shopping mall and you can be in the casino in a matter of minutes and when you want to leave the nosie behind you can be back to the calm Elara. Will most certainly recommned to family and friends. « less

This hotel was lovely and clean and quiet (compared to the rest of Las Vegas) partly because it does not contain a casino. It was nice to be able to get away from things at the downstairs bar. I was disappointed that we did not have a room with a decent view of the Strip though - especially as we had booked months in advance and my husband had pre-arranged a room with a nice view on the 18th floor - we ended up looking at a car park roof from the 4th floor. « less

1st time in Sin City,best hol so far :) We stayed in a 1bedroom corner suite which was excellent!! Room was v.modern with great view of The Paris from the living area and the hills from the bedroom.Both rooms had large wall mounted plasma tv's and electric blinds. Hotel is very central postioned with everything on your door. Security to lifts were always manned and had to show room key card everytime. Didnt use the pool area as too cold. Have and would DEF recomend this hotel to everyone not 1 fault « less
