For us the location was perfect. It was close to friends and could walk down Ventura Blvd to quite a few different restaurant choices. The room was a bit small but very clean and nicely done and if your lucky enough to get a room in the back building, upstairs on the backside you get a lovely patio. Because the hotel backs up to a hill the pool is there. Very secluded with trees, lovely landscape and nice furnishings. Gives you kind of a backyard feel rather than a hotel. Loved it. « less

Had a meeting nearby. The Best Western Woodland Hills in was within walking distance of my meeting and some good restaurants. There are grocery stores nearby including a Trader Joe's. The street is busy but manageable and the property was well maintained. Sleep was surprisingly quiet. Staff was helpful. Breakfast was typical of such hotels. The TV was large and modern, and everything in the room worked. Beds are fine although not pillow top and mine did have a little of the usual "well" in it which lots of hotels seem to have not. It's not the Hyatt or Marriott, but you aren't paying as much either. « less

Thank you for your positive remarks. I'm glad you had a pleasant stay. Being located on a famous boulevard where real estate can be limited, we do run into overflow parking needs on our busier nights. We are located directly across a small street that has ample City Lot parking, which helps on such nights. We direct or guests to this lot later in the evening when the need arises, and will reimburse the $2.50 all-day parking fee the City requires. Thank you again for your feedback.
