Property Description

Clean and casual near Downtown. Located in the hub of San Diego, this 2-story inn is 1 mile from Old Town and 5 miles from Downtown San Diego. Our 138 Guest Rooms are nonsmoking and feature classic cherry finish furnishings, en suite bathrooms, additional seating areas, 32" flat screen cable television with HBO, free wireless internet and central air conditioning. All rooms are seeing updates and renovations in 2012. Refrigerators are in each room. Complimentary coffee and tea service is available in the lobby 24/7. Microwaves are available on request. Our Hotel boasts a huge Heated Outdoor Pool and a 10-person Jacuzzi, guest laundry facilities, discounted tickets to area attractions, free parking and free wireless internet. Delight in the Best Tasting Waffles at our award winning Waffle Spot diner, open for Breakfast and Lunch. And save room for tasty authentic Mexican and awesome margaritas at our Dinner Restaurant, The Amigo Spot, which features happy hour every evening from 4 pm - 7 pm and Live Mariachis every Friday Night. Classic Guitar is featured Thursdays and a Jazz Quartet on Saturdays. The Hotel's professional Catering Manager is available to assist you with any group dining or meeting functions. We take pride in providing the highest quality in food & services. With over 3500 square feet of indoor/outdoor banquet and meeting space, our banquet and meeting rooms can accommodate groups of 15 to 120 of your guests.

Green Sustainability

We recycle rain water to feed our plant beds. We have self-timing shut offs for our guestroom lighting in case someone forgets to turn out the lights. Traditional light bulbs have been replaced with energy efficient LED bulbs throughout the facility. Our HVAC systems automatically adjust to moderate temperatures to avoid over-use. Each room and common area has its own HVAC system so that those not in use may be shut off. Water pitchers and reusable dispensers are provided for meetings in place of individual/disposable water bottles.
