This hotel was great for our family, we had 2 rooms for a week. The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly. They were great at the front desk and Brenda the housekeeper was great. We had 3 kids in one room and she did a great job on both rooms each day. We will be back, the price of the room was super. On a side note Paul's which is located in the same parking lot has great food and it's very cheap. (in a good way) « less

My husband and I stayed here with some friends, as it was very cheap and close to Knott's Berry Farm. Well, we took one step into our room before wishing that we had spent more on a hotel. Our room was dusty, dirty, and there was a huge yellow stain on the ceiling. We NEVER go on vacations, so this was supposed to be a treat for us, but instead, I burst into tears and told my husband I would not stay in a room where I was afraid to touch anything. We called the front desk, who graciously gave us another room. Although this one did not look like a crime scene as the first one had, I still was resistant to touch anything in the room (as it was not the cleanest). We spoke to our friends, who were disappointed in their room as well, and agreed to call around town to look for another hotel. To our dismay, everything was booked solid, and what was available was incredibly pricey. We had to spend the weekend at this hotel, and have vowed to spend more for a hotel (and never go back to this one), in order to get relaxation and peace of mind. (Also, I know this is disgusting, but my husband said that when he took a shower, there were pubic hairs on the shower wall. Makes you wonder if anything else got cleaned there. I think it goes without saying that I went the whole weekend without taking a shower, and I went to bed dressed head-to-toe so that my skin would hardly touch the sheets. This hotel definitely killed any chance of a romantic weekend!) « less

I have always been a customer of the Good Night Inn Buena Park, especially during the time of their last manager, and since the new manager this is my first visit and the worst ever. I checked in on a Friday afternoon and their best front desk clerk named Maria checked me in, and as usual she was great and extremely accomodating. She gave me a room on the ground level, and as soon as I entered my room, I put the do not disturb sign so I can get the much needed rest. A few minutes after I hear the loud banging on my door informing me that I needed to get out of my room because the carpet needed to be shampooed. I found this ridiculous since they should not have sold this room if they wanted to shampoo the carpet. I have never heard of full paying customers being told to vacate their room so carpet shampooing can be done. Just to get it over with I decided to leave the room and wait outside of my door since all my belongings were in the room. I noticed their GM and another guy dressed like him just stand in front of the door watching the guys do their work while he was busy with his toothpick in his mouth. Did not even bother to apologize for the inconvenience that they were causing. This has never happened to me ever in any hotel that I hve stayed at, and by far this is the worst experience I have ever had. YOU NEED A MANAGER WHO KNOWS WHAT GOOD CUSTOMER RELATIONS IS ALL ABOUT. The guys who shampooed the carpet also decided to just put the chair on top of the bed which was not covered with the bedspread, so all the dirt was left on the sheets. These guys were pigs who couldnt care less just like the management of this place. This was one Good Nite Inn which for me was the best, but now it is even worst that the worst motel 6 in the ghetto. No wonder your good managers do not stay. Management has to learn to care if you want this small chain to survive this industry unless of course if you could not care less about how your customers feel. THIS IS NOT WHAT GOOD CUSTOMER RELATIONS IS ALL ABOUT. Will never return to this place and I shall make sure that everyone knows how uncaring this place is. « less
