I checked into this property because it seemed like a safe location and the price was decent. I asked specifically at check-in if they had a wireless connection which I need for work and they assured me that it was available. Later that evening I try to log in and...nothing. Three days later and it's still a dead-zone. The motel is a little worn but the AC works good. If you have no need for wireless it might be worth a try, but's it's really strange in 2012 to be without an internet connection. Kinda of like being in a third world country. « less

The first awful thing was the stench of smoke everywhere, in the lobby, hallways and room. So after we left, our clothes smelled of smoke. It says the rooms are no smoking but still, everything smells strongly of cigarettes. And there were cigarette burns in the tub! Next, the sheets in the first room looked as if they had been slept in, and there was a broken knob on the faucet so we couldn't get hot water. We asked to change. We got a different room that had broken drawers that looked pathetic. The sheets were so worn and thin and did not stay on the mattress. The covers were this part polyester type bedcover that looked as if it were from the 1970's. We will never stay at an Econolodge again after this experience. The cheap price was NOT worth it. « less

Recent repaint, (professionally), and relatively new carpet and bedding made this a pleasant and comfortable stay. Some cigarette smoke in the hallway and lobby, but none in my non-smoking room....

We live a couple hours outside of Tulsa. Our Grandkids live just outside of Tulsa. We love taking the Grandkids and staying at the Econo Lodge. The rooms are large, recently renovated and clean. The one thing we really enjoy is the indoor pool. In the terrible Oklahoma heat of Summer or the frigid cold in the Winter we can take the Grandkids for a staycation and they love it. We take board games to play while we are in the room and when the kids get bored we walk them to the large indoor pool area. Grandpa and I can easily keep an eye on the Grandkids while we are lounging in the jacuzzi which is also in the pool room. We enjoy the free breakfast the next morning before taking the Grandkids home.
Recently we reserved one of the banquet rooms for my husband's 50th Birthday. The hotel staff sat up tables complete with linen tablecloths. We invited about 50 friends and we all had a great time. Those who did not feel up to driving home after the party received a room discound of $55.00 a night which included the free breakfast.
It is a bit off the beaten path in Tulsa but Highway 169 and 44 are both very nearby. It is a great place to stay while visiting Tulsa. « less

Bed was comfortable enough. I did have to get extra pillows as the ones on the bed were *flat*. The comforter needed to be replaced.
The room I got had a whirlpool tub, but around the jets was a thin line of black that partly came away with a tissue. Yuck.
Also, despite all the no smoking signs, the hallways always smelled like cigarette smoke. And all the rooms in the corridor were non-smoking. « less
