First of all, the room was a good "value" for what we paid, but it was certainly not what I was expecting: -Breakfast closed too early (9:30am). We traveled from the West coast, so this is like breakfast closing at 6:30am for us. So, we never got to take advantage of the complimentary breakfast. -We requested an early check-in and the person at the front desk said he would call us when a room became available. He never called us back, I stopped by an hour before check-in and there was a room available. I would have preferred if he had just said to check back in later, rather than driving around town waiting for a call back. -Room was MUCH smaller than I expected and MUCH smaller than what is shown in the photos online. Very misleading. -Walls were thin, could hear entire conversations of our neighbors in the next room. -Bedding was limited. There was only a sheet, thin blanket and top sheet. No comforter or extra blankets in the room. « less

First let me apologize for the poor service your recieved as far as a return phone call, you should have been called when a room was available. I am sorry our breakfast hours did not meet your needs, we will accomodate all our guests with breakfast anytime if it is past the serving time. Our breakfast is Grab and Go and that makes it wasy and fast to serve. All you need to do is ask the front desk. In our studios witout a sofa we do not provide extra balnkets but they are availbale at the desk 24 hours a day. We hope you will visit us again so we can provide you a great experience.

Pros - clean private room. Inexpensive. Friendly night staff.
Cons - Saturday morning help was sitting in breakfast area showing a couple his new tattoo (located on his calf). He had just gotten the band aid off, so the blister had emptied and he was letting it air dry. Chose not not eat there. Trash can 10 feet from this fellow was over flowing with garbage. Bathroom door would not close properly. Parking lot was full so had to park at hotel next to this one.

I have spent many, many nights (30+) here while in Knoxville. Not a fancy place, but ALWAYS clean and comfortable. Reasonably priced, adequate breakfast offerings, the amenties in the room--iron, A/C, microwave, TV, refrigerator, stove top--ALWAYS work as expected.
The staff is ALWAYS helpful and ready to serve. Parking, in front, is abit cramped, but a spot can be found around back. Access to the room entry hallway & elevator is behind keyed doors, off the lobby. Fitness room, laundry room and a pool. Baskeball hoops availble form the Residence Inn across the shared parking area..
There are lots of restaurants (my favorite is the Parkside Grille-walking distance) and retail around including an Aldi and a Kroger when you need provisions. Highly recommended when you need a safe, clean, comfortable place in the West Knoxville area that doesn't command the prices of the Turkey Creek area.Easy to get to, just off I-40 between the Pelissippi Parkway and the Cedar Bluff exit. « less
